The administration picks a "designated survivor" from the cabinet to not attend the SOTU. That person acts as president if catastrophe hits.

There are not 239 4-star admirals. There have been 239 active 4-star admirals throughout the history of the Navy. Most of them are dead.

Correct, I should have said admirals. Still a joke.

Hegseth has first-hand experience with r****ded flag officers getting men killed and then retiring to lucrative board seats with defense contractors. He doesn't bow to the military-industrial-media-natsec-think tank blob that is worshiped by the left.

The fact you are justifying this shows you’ve already committed yourself to the SS. There is no scenario where this is acceptable

no point in wasting time here

Hegseth has first-hand experience with raping women while being intoxicated.

Hegseth has first-hand experience being an unqualified DEI hire.

Hegseth has first-hand experience with having a chaotic personal life.

Hegseth has first-hand experience with having his own mother tell him he is a disappointment.

I have no idea how much real experience Hegseth has with r****ded flag officers, but I am guessing that he has more experience with ****ing up people's lives.

    Right. That highlights the possibility.

I would amend my previous post to say the country could still survive as it struggles to elect replacements for SCOTUS and Congress.

But if all of our generals and admirals were taken out in one strike, the military would be crippled for a long time.

No one wears the "DEI" hiring label more rightly than him.

The meeting is expected to resemble “a pep rally” where Hegseth will underscore the importance of the “warrior ethos” and outline a new vision for the US military, said three of the sources. He is expected to discuss new readiness, fitness and grooming standards the officers are expected to adhere to and enforce.

“It’s about getting the horses into the stable and whipping them into shape,” said a defense official familiar with the planning. “And the guys with the stars on their shoulders make for a better audience from an optics standpoint. This is a showcase for Hegseth to tell them: get on board, or potentially have your career shortened.”

The Clutchfans auto-editor is still woke when it censors the word r****ded, and needs to get with the program. Didn't Trump sign an executive order that it is okay to call people or things r****ded again?

That’s great! A leader is leading.

Failed SecDef Lloyd Austin just got people together for DEI training.

BTW, Hegseth is still officially the head of the department of defense, because trumpy would require congressional authority to change the name.

They've just given The DoD an "alternate name" and eliminated all visible reference to the actual name. More smoke and mirrors bullshit that's very on-brand for the orange man.

That sounds like insufficient reason to do all this. But I guess I wouldn't put it past him.
