Look them up, there’s some with his head above the backboard. You don’t max jump to dunk, unless you have to. You rarely see him go for flash dunks. There is no gaming official testers, they take pride in accuracy. If there’s a discrepancy it’s universal. What he’s talking about is shoulder extension, you can tighten your lays when they extend your arm. The most you will get is an inch, but majority of the time the tester will have you remeasure
I can't find anything with him close tbh. Like not just a little bit he's nowhere even remotely close to the height his head needs to be for him to have even a 40 inch vertical. It's basic math. How big do you think 4 inches is? Again, for him to have a 41 inch vert it needs to be within 4 inches, not 12 inches.
There’s other photos, with his head at the bottom of the backboard. You can choose not to believe official testing. But his tests are factual. Not to be rude at all, but have you ever dunked before? No one max vert in game to dunk unless the only way they can is to max vert.
Think of it like this. At his standing reach of 7’ 9.5 inches, with his max vert of 42” that would put his max height at 11’ 3.5” Round up to 11’5 for a potential “reach issue” To two hand dunk, you have to be able to clear 10’11 with a 9.5” basketball, he does this with ease. That’s a 6” differential, if he can two hand dunk with bent elbows with ease, it’s very easy to see 40+ inch vert
Reed Sheppard already has more in game dunks in his career than CP3. I guess CP3 never had the size or athleticism to make it in the NBA, someone better tell him.
I really like this post. It makes me feel optimistic that, despite FVV's injury, the team will still succeed and make a run for it. WCF should be the goal and the ring next year. If it happens this year, that would be awesome.
