Riley Greene about to extinguish any chance we have at the post season.

    Whew!

    Crisis averted.

Back end of the Detroit pen has been a mess.

We just need one more meltdown out of them.

Tigers winning hurts bigly. Now we need help from Texas. If the Tigers win 2 of 3 both Detroit and Boston eliminate us. Only real hope is a sweep of the Angels and a series win by either Boston or Texas. I’m sure the Rangers would love to stick it to the Astros.

Let’s be real, the Astros losing 5 in a row to Seattle and Oakland is what hurts. If they win even 2 of those games…

Obviously true. They had their chances all season really. So many bad losses. Nothing but mediocrity since Joe took over. Never thought I’d beg for Dusty to un-retire. This offseason is going to tell us what the next five years are going to be. It can go either way at this point.

Not asking for glory days Correa batting 7th lineups. But a serious team should have better than a 4/48 with RISP honestly. That's twice worse than Cooper Hummel from players 3 times better, ouch brutal

So if we win out and Detroit doesn’t win 2 out of 3, we get in.

They need to do one of the following over the next 3 games:
Make up 2 games on Detroit
Make up 2 games on Cleveland
Make up 3 games on Boston.

    Ignoring Cleveland for a moment.

Boston plays Detroit. Scenarios for Astros to pass one of those two:

If Detroit sweeps, the Astros need to go 3-0.
If Detroit wins 2 of 3, the Astros can’t pass either
If Boston wins 2 of 3 the Astros need to go 3-0.
If Boston sweeps, the Astros can go 2-1

Cleveland is easier - the Astros need to win at least 2 more games than Cleveland to pass them.

True, but he said the glory years. That is when those 50 games happened.

    (Or most of them anyway)

Is that young girl [Earl] Courtney Cox...dancing in the dark?

Worst video Bruce ever did, trying to be Elvis or Travolta or something for a bit

That album has a distinct vibe. Off the rails a bit but in good hands the whole time.
