The Astros still need to win 2 games before the end of the season if Detroit loses all of their games. At this rate, the Astros will be lucky to win a game to finish out the year.

Sanchez gave up as many runs as Hunter did....0-2 at the plate to boot.

I have not seen an Astros team look this dead in the water since 2013. Wow!

What’s even worse for the Astros, if they lose tonight the Red Sox can clinch tomorrow and rest up against Detroit. Sad sad baseball team right now.

Detroit isn't going to lose out. We're done. We had win this current series. We are ****ing toast.

So unbelievably frustrating. I hate sports in this city right now.

We may not score 4 runs in the next 4 games. Burnt toast. It's ****ing over.

I've been holding out hope but this is the nail in the coffin. Detroit may not even have to win another game honestly.

Seems like reality has finally dawned on the players that it's over, and they have quit.

I felt at the start of the season that the Astros' window to contend has finally closed. Their strong June gave me some hope, but it turns out that month was an outlier. The Astros were mediocre to bad in every other month. Sure, the injuries hurt, but I don't think this team would've been much better even if they were reasonably healthy.

It's been a great run since 2017. The Astros have a LOT of flaws and holes they need to address if they want to get back to being a playoff caliber team. Biggest being starting pitching, first base, new manager and new hitting coach.
