I've actually had the thought that MLB should intervene and bypass having either Houston or Detroit represent the 3rd Wildcard. Choose a team that has played decently well the past couple of months like the Royals or hell I would pick the Orioles. They deserve it.
Cleveland potentially with a magic number of 1 to win the division after tomorrow is completely insane. They will probably be resting their starters by Saturday. Potentially awaiting the Astros. Cleveland would have Williams and Bibee on long rest if they can clinch by no later than Saturday. Lined up perfectly for games 1 and 2. G1: Williams vs Brown G2: Bibee vs Valdez G3: Messick vs Javier We would have our work cut out for us. Specifically our feeble bats.
Me too...will try not show show my butt as I experience disappointment..Walker temptimg me as I type...SO
I keep thinking...when we score 4 runs or more, we have a really great record. We have had 11 of the last 36 games were we scored 1 or less.Would be fine sitting Walker..what is he ? .230 or something. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see Sanchez get a firm place on the bench as well. Jake from Rake Farm's bat is nonexistent. Can catch normally though.
There is probably a better chance that Yordan could DH and hop on one leg for a hit...if he hit a HR he could walk around the bases than what we've got now.
