A bump from ~2% to %3% inflation is enough for voters to consider shitcanning Milei after previous years of crazy inflation. Where does that sound familiar?

America is doing a belated pivot to Argentina. China has cash and we have...sharp words of concern.

Without Milei winning the presidency, they probably would've joined BRICS. He tried pegging his peso to the dollar but Trump be doing Trump things.

Deal extension allows Trump ally Argentina to borrow another $5 billion from China

    Well this is going well.

No one can accurately predict the future, but I had (still have concerns) but glad it wasn’t done in the USA.

Nut jobs winning elections all over the globe. The stability of the WWII generation is gone and left with inferior Boomers and Gen X leaders.

But the million dollar question is why the **** are we bailing them out? Why are us taxpayers sending 20 billion to Argentina while we kick off tens of millions off Healthcare ?

Why the hell are we responsible for Argentina?

I didn't think they should bail out any of the banks (not SVB, not any of the banks in 2008). Let more healthy banks buy them up. I am not a fan of sending money to foreign governments (where is that in the Constitution?). Not everyone is a libertarian when things are good, there are plenty of big government people around always. Not every libertarian abandons ship when things are bad. I have had many ups and downs in life, but have never sought a government handout. If I needed cash, I borrowed money (at sometimes awful interest rates). I also pay back all my loans. It is called personal responsibility. If everyone had it, the world would really be a wonderful place. Instead we have way too many people that live off of the contributions of others (be they voluntary or compulsory).

Re: 2008 the whole financial market was at risk for collapse. There would’ve been no banks at all if the feds didn’t intervene. All because of some greedy assholes and the sycophants around them who thought housing could never lose value.

I dont identify as a libertarian as there is no real definition. Im not anti government. Im anti stupid politicians and both parties have filled their ranks with such. And there are stupid people who keep apologizing for their respective team.
