i saw this, and read the various reports. i'm not sure this is new news. Germany, and the rest of NATO, have always had plans in place for how to manage casualties in the event of war w/ Russia. maybe just updated for current realities on its front, and transportation logistics.

I saw an article referencing another article quoting someone in the White House admiting it was just a "negotiating tactic" to try and pressure Pootie-poot and that there is no material change in policy towards the war. But I didn't dig into it, so take it with a grain of salt. I very much doubt Ukraine gets tomahawks. They've been asking for them from the beginning and its always been a hard no.
War mongers want to start a nuclear war. And oil embargo clearly hasn't worked in the last 4 years. Unless you think Trump is much better at it and the Biden administration was completely incompetent. Two things can be true at once
Putin is the War Monger. Putin is currently testing NATO airspace in Estonia, Poland, Denmark, France, Sweden. One can only guess what Putin's play here is. BTW tomahawks make a very effective agent for oil embargoes, no?

I don’t know what game Putin is playing. If Putin can get NATO to shoot down some of his fighter jets, he might get Russians to go “all in”? BTW no way, no how does TACO man respond to an article 5 violation. Europe is on its own.

One would have to think that Ukraine knows most of what the US knows, since Ukraine has already been hitting military and economic targets deep within Russia. Minimally, this is a big "F*ck You Vlad" from Trump, for not seriously working toward a ceasefire.
