There is no question that Democrat politicians' words are pushing people towards violence. Today's deadly shooting is another stark reminder. We need accountability from our leaders. This is unacceptable.
Did I specify illegal or just use the word "immigrants"? The H1-B visa has been terribly abused by companies wanting cheap labor. There's a company here in Houston that I worked for at one time that has 6-7 "employment agencies / temp agencies" that are nothing but shells to shield the parent company - they bring in immigrants from Mexico down to El Salvador on visa's at a cheaper cost than hiring even temporary American labor and they've been doing it for ~30 years. These people earn ~$9hr, the employment agency houses them in an old hotel that they own and transports them to and from and charges them for it .... they stay here about 9 months then return to their country of origin for 3 months, rinse repeat. When they return to their country of origin after that 9 months, they have about $3000 in their pockets. This is "factory work" .... not something that requires specialized training. These aren't jobs no one else can do. The same thing is happening all over the country .... These workers aren't irreplaceable, they are just cheaper - Until now.
ur talking about those on a H 2 B visa, temporary workers, like those waiters/bus boys/janitors who work at Mar A Lago. H 1 B visas are for professionals, those w college degrees, like coders/financial analyst/engineers/physicians etc.
Violent leftists can do the most horrible things, like murder people, and they will still find a way to blame the other side. "Janetty dove through the window to escape!"
I love how Republican chide the left to curb their rhetoric while Trump rails about radical lunatics. Trump has made a career of counting on counterparties to be reasonable while he gets an advantage breaking norms. How about... no thanks.
Yeah, H1B visas are all about STEM labor. I’m in the Healthcare IT industry. These visa holders aren’t making chump change. They’re here because there’s a shortage of American STEM talent. I’m happy to be proven wrong.
First @adoo and now you. There is a real surge for support of state's rights from the left. I hope it continues when pet issues are not at stake (somehow I doubt it).
It's more MAGA to point out the few on the left and ignore all the violence from the right. Terrorism is terrorism, murder is murder, and the perps should ALL be sought out, and prosecuted. When you have a President who only rages vengeance towards criminals who aren't MAGA then you have a crooked right wing system of justice. The guy flat out says he hates Americans who aren't MAGA. But, if you have a lot of money to bribe him, he doesn't care about your party affiliation, religion, or ethnicity. In fact, he doesn't care what country you are from, if you can bribe him with big money and business deals.
Surge in state’s rights? You are funny. Did you see what I responded to? Of course not. All I heard for 40 years from the Republican Party was the importance of states rights and now that they have Trump they have zero issues gutting states rights and, as the poster I responded to “Who gives a **** what they want” said - and once that door is open, it’s really hard to close - it has very little to do with what I support or don’t support and more to do with it being very hard to put the genie back in the bottle. Had the same comments about the expansion of executive power nearly 25 years ago.
I think it is more about how the States Rights Republicans now want to federalize everything Rocket River
Thank you, I try. Yes, I did. Yes, it is very sad that the Republicans are also a party of big government.
