God I hate people that do this. Show me the receipts. Show me that you'd have done better or stfu. We were expected to be a top 3 team in the league despite your so called misses. If anything, you're making an argument that he's even better at his job because he turned this team into one of the top teams in the league despite having a glaring weakness.

And honestly, imho, the only miss was Jalen Green. And that was wonderfully offset by the Sengun deal, where he absolutely robbed the generally accepted best GM in the league. But was Jalen even a miss if he's turned into Kevin Durant and a potential shot at a chip?

I'd argue that Jalen Green's boyfriend was a miss too, especially since Grimes was right there for the taking, but we probably disagree about that.

“Obviously”? Holiday can shoot the three and (usually) doesn’t try to do too much or play outside his skill set. He doesn’t take anything off the table.

Having Russ try to “run the offense” is like trying to kill a fly with a stick of dynamite.

If the Rockets really did dump guys to bring in Westbrick again, I'd actively root against the team until every member of the FO and coaching staff are gone. This includes Fertitta selling the team.

It would be crossing a red line....for a ****ing second time.

Look at what Houston Sports have become.

WNBA denying Houston a team when we had their original dynasty
Us begging for a Texans win against the Titans
Us hoping Astros don’t lose in the first round of playoffs
And us begging for a WASHED Westbrook & Ben Simmons on the Rockets.

How did Houston piss off EVERY Sports God!?
This has to be the worst possible timeline.
    :(

Man Im just like....not worried at all. FVV held this team back as much as he lifted this team up. We needed to move on from him eventually and I worried how reluctant Ime was going to be about that.

    He has no choice now.

I see zero benefit to KD walking or retiring after this season. It would provide us no cap space. And we lose a player who has averaged at least 25ppg on 60+ TS% for 12 straight seasons. I think he's the perfect complementary player next to Sengun and Amen because he's a high volume efficient shooter that can still defend.

We can keep the team together under the 2nd apron, including a max extension for Amen and an extended Tari if KD accepts a pay cut. I'd much rather do that than let him walk. Even if you think he wouldn't live up to a multi-year contract, like $45-50M annually, he's much better than nothing. I'd argue he's still a positive trade asset. At least trade him instead of hoping he retires.

this is exactly how I feel about FVV..almost every regular season game was brick city for this ewok…I really wanted him long gone, but then he was huge in the playoffs..

Stone will find us a good PG once we are able to trade, I’m 100% confident….

So let me get this straight. We trade Tari, but instead of getting a PG, we get some other type of player and then we sign Westbrook??

I love Cod, but his source is BSing him on this one.

Without FVV, we are going to be worse. Yes, Durant will make us better. But how many games will he miss?

On the bright side, weaning Udoka from FVV might be good for the team long term.

KD is nto a leader you need FVV. Without another strong voice KD teams collapse into pettiness and mediocrity.
