I am so glad I haven't watch a single game
    Would have lost my TV....

Anyways, good luck die hard fans, this team, this city is, is, whats the word. Heck, you know..

The mess is major and I dont think its fixable this season.

I think they are working for worst team in the league staus. Lose to Titans next week, they may go 0 fer...

Number 1 pick, new OC for sure. But then they have to decide what to do with the QB.

Pay him super max, highest $$.

How about The other one? Anderson?

I think we have major questions with our GM..... the HC is looking a bit shaky now.... and I'm wondering if we should pay CJ "the max".....

But it really all comes down to ownership and this continued "ah schuks" type of leadership up at the top..... the sister seems more of a killa than any of the McNair men.

Everyone should watch MNF and ask yourselves if the Texans resemble anything about either of these teams.

Spoiler : we don’t. We are that far away. We most certainly are not “close” and we really haven’t been for a while. This franchise needs to take a long look in the mirror.

Lamar Jackson was sacked 7x tonight. The Ravens Oline isn’t atrocious. Joe Burrows Oline has literary sent him to the hospital on several occasions and he still puts up MVP numbers.

The point is that maybe a handful of teams have legit good Olines everyone else makes do and superstar franchise QBs will find ways to make plays regardless.

CJ may not be a franchise s tier qb, there’s really only like 5 of those in the NFL, and might be closer to his OG comp coming out of college. Jared Goff. A qb who needs a top 5 Oline to be above avg And tbh I’ll take it. I’ve seen enough college fb to know that the Gen Z NIL qbs coming up are not S tier types.

It’s not just QB’s getting hit or sack numbers. Its the frequency of pressure… its the ability for teams to collapse the pocket with base defenses… its no consistency what so ever from pass play to pass play.

(Also those teams do have legit o-lines. Ravens line was mauling their front but they left a spy in the middle that prevented Jackson stepping up).

Bright side is, in theory, the new OL will improve with more experience together.

There., there's your glimmer of hope.

Seriously hope Texans stay within 20 - but they won't.

Good news is we won’t be the only top tier team 1-3 after this coming week.

You know you about to hit tank mode when you have a ‘players only meeting.’

Ya’ll better start watching Miami and Utah Utes games going forward to see which one of those OT Samoan boys were selecting in the draft.

JJ Watt recently had some thoughts on players only meetings. LOL

I feel like we need to go 4 wide somewhat regularly... here's my logic...

Our line has trouble communicating assignments. When the defense brings the house Stroud is toast every time.

Spread the linebackers wide in coverage, makes it harder to bring the house. That should make communicating easier. Leave a pass catching back like Chubb or Woody back to chip and be a safety valve.

We can run some pick plays like the chiefs to get a hot route opened up for stroud to get rid of quicker.

Should also be easier to run the ball with fewer guys in the box. That can get us out of so many 3rd and longs.

Also, if you have more targets downfield, if you get scramble drill with cj rolling out it's more likely he can find an open target. Would like to see him out of the pocket more so he can throw it away without grounding.

The problems preventing this franchise from reaching its goals were clear both during and following last season. It appears the franchise failed to address those problems. What now?

I really appreciated your post. Regarding the Texans, the time has come to regain perspective. Following a sports team is supposed to be fun. Currently, following the Texans is sheer misery. They are all millionaires, and most of us work for a living. I am taking a break. This team is so screwed up that there are clearly no easy fixes. They are going to lose a ton of games.
