I love CJ, but he has not looked good this year. Is this the real CJ or was his rookie year the real CJ, as a fan I "want" him to be the franchise but the way the team is playing it's very hard to tell. The Texans are about to back up the Brinx truck, so we better find out and fast

This is probably not gonna happen, but lest trot Mills out there and see what happens..........is the system too complicated for CJ or is it just a crappy offense

Why I fall for the Ockey doke every off season is beyond me.......................same results, and here I was talking about contending with the Bills, hell we can't even beat the Jags and they tried to give us the dam game, I would say I am a 100% positive we kick the snot out of the Titans, but now I am not sure.................hell this is probably the coming out party for Cam Ward

Pressure rate%. For the 2nd straight year, CJ Stroud is face the most pressure. You can’t perform facing 40%. You saw what happened when Mahomes faced that type of pressure in the Superbowl.

Where does his time to throw rank? Dead last.

You tend to get more pressure when you fail to get the ball out.

When I googled “which NFL teams have never had a great quarterback” it lists the Texans, Bears, Jaguars, and Browns. That first season looked so promising. I hope he can turn it around.

starnge, I thought Berne Kosar was a great QB.
McMahon was pretty good back in the day as well.
    Great I do not know?

I guess Kenny stabler is owned by the titans at this point

Sucks if they're able to claim Stabler and Moon. I don't know if Kosar was great, but he was very good and consistent. Parts of his career, he just didn't have the best players surrounding him.

On my knees for defending our QB because I am not emotional every time he makes a mistake. Yep. You guys cry the whole game thread about it. Its depressing.

Yes, on your knees defending one of the worst QB's in the NFL. It's embarrassing.

You also hold the ball when no one is getting open. That is part of the problem.

Man it’s going to hurt when he go elsewhere and he basically that teams baker, darnold, Jones. Story cause we all know the Texans know what they are doing when it comes to building a team correctly.

That's a fun excuse, but film shows guys open, they just don't have a QB that will get the ball out on time.

I know you'd prefer to think that the Texans are the only team in the NFL with no one ever open, but that's just not the case.

Oh really? The Chronicle just did film study and one big problem is Receiver spacing. Receivers running the same routes in the same space. Clint on SportsRadio 610 has been on this since week 1.

Sure, that's a thing to THIS season because they gave full control over the offense to a moron. When you have Stroud calling protections and adjusting plays of course it's going to be a disaster.

That said, he took the longest in the NFL to throw the ball last season too... it's just something he's never been good at because his brain processes information too slowly.... something we were warned about before he was drafted.

Your agenda is OBVIOUS. Stroud does NOT design routes. The problem is in the play design. When your LT is struggling against the Jags #1 pass rusher, why not chip with TE on his way into his route? Stroud is still learning the offense. Amazingly, he was able to change things at OSU. Stroud is not calling the protections. You have to understand it is a new offense for him too.

There's no agenda, it's just the facts. Even when the play design is perfect... like on the final interception, Stroud still ****s it up because he can't read defenses for ****.

I bought into the Stroud hype as much or more than anyone else, but the facts just don't support that BS so my opinion has changed.

Ok...that may have been a TD...if the play was designed with a chip on the DE.

Dont you remember all off-season we were told CJ has alot more control over play calling and Caley was a QB guy. How often does he audible at the line?

No, it wouldn't have been, the moron attempted to throw into double coverage instead of the wide open option the scheme created.

It's my entire point, he's too dumb to know what will be open based on the play call and the response by the defense.... and this is year 3.
