Cover Songs that are Better Than the original

I refuse to say anything's better than the original, but... this is 99% there. Damn!

 

They are a Machine doing Covers.

So far, I haven't found them straying far from their niche.

Usually some type of Soft Rock, Funk, Soul and a bit of Disco. A bit of Tina Turner as well.

 

Since DoD went with Aussies (HSCC), I will jump over to Europe.

 

You can't top the Beatles originals but these are stunning in their own right...

Not sure if this has been mentioned before:

The Eric Clapton songs: "After Midnight" and "Cocaine" are all covers of JJ Cale songs, just in case anyone wanted to know.

So is Skynyrds? "Call Me The Breeze"

My brother got the Dylan lyric "don't think twice it's all right" cursive tattooed on his inner forearm after he got divorced years ago.

I had recently read about the Joe Cocker Tribute Concert and how they loaded up on talent to do it.

When I pulled up the JJ Cale video...........I remembered that I needed to go find something from the Tribute Concert.

So the Chain of Events was something like this..

I've posted this before, but here it is again:

 

Seems that JJ Cale and Leon were both from Oklahoma (but not Muskogee) and also friends.

 

Both born elsewhere in the State, but grew up in Tulsa, formative years and such.

Tulsa is a great town, in case anyone was wondering.
