Aint worried, reed can take the ball up the court pass it to either durant or sengun. That's all he's gotta do and then get some steals and stuff. This is KD's team now btw. So... there's our leader.

It was never open. Not with OKC here.

Would have been a fun year but excited to see Sheppard and Amen get trial by fire.

But wings at the NBA level are exceptional ball handlers and can run as point forward or combo guard. This is a prerequisite at this level.

Fred continues to be a disappointment

Reed Sheppard as the starting PG tells me not to have any expectations for this season now

Kawhi scandal is just cherry picking and he can sue the league and expose more similar situations around the association.

The front office was so hell bent on signing Capela - they should let him run the point.

The only guy that ever passed Sengun the ball lol All jokes aside how much trouble are we in if Reed doesnt take a leap this year.

Fred's assit to turnover ratio was really good, though. He plays solid defense, too. It's bad news.

That curse isn't the Texans, it's the Oilers - just remember being up 35-3 against the Bills and finding a way to lose .... it just spread like Covid from team to team in the city.

We went from possibly being able to win a championship to were definitely not winning a championship this season.

The only downside to this is that we cant afford to waste any KD seasons.

Oklahoma City was certainly an overwhelming favorite, but the Rockets were one of the few teams that had the talent to compete with the Thunder.

Even after this news, the Rockets will still be really good this season. There are a lot of teams that would love to start Amen Thompson-Dorian Finney Smith-Kevin Durant-Jabari Smith Jr. / Tari Eason and Alperen Sengun. It’s also still a really good defensive and rebounding team.

That’s a credit to the depth Stone and Udoka have assembled.

Pretty dumb rule that it effects the hard cap, then what's the point of it? You should also be hard cap exempt IMO.

You’re wrong. Amen is going to be a hall of fame PG, combo guard if he stays healthy. Reed will have to grow up fast or we will trade for a backup PG.

The Rockets choose to be hard-capped. The NBA's position is that there is plenty of flexibility in the rules. The teams that push the limits, removing that flexibility, should not get amnesty. It would not be a hard cap if there were exceptions.

Hard cap means exactly that, no exceptions.

It sucks .... but that's the breaks.

Are we able to use the Disabled Player Exception? Kind of hoping Harden buys out his contract and signs with us...
