The FCC chair called for the network to, "change conduct and take actions on Kimmel"

Keep playing dumb. You never gave the biden admin 10% of the goodwill you give Trump.

    that's not what @FranchiseBlade said:

True or false the head of the FCC called for Kimmel's suspension and he was suspended?

True or False the head of the FCC said that the network should remove Kimmel from the air or face consequences?

Correcting bad information is not "playing dumb."

You said in the other censorship thread that the biden admin pressured and censored Americans free speech. The supreme court ruled 6-3 that the admin never forced the companies to take down anything and there was no censorship.

Go fix your own conspiracies before you attack others

This was the braindead stuff you posted under biden

Accusing the biden admin of "government control over speech" even though the biden admin never forced anyone or threatened any company with consequences if they did not remove content. Meta and others routinely told the biden admin to kick rocks and that was the end of it. The right wing supreme court ruled 6-3 on the side of Biden.

Yet now you bootlick and sane wash Trumps FCC literally telling a company, "we can do it the easy way or hard way."

Do you not realize that you come off as a disingenuous hack whos only job is to root for their side?

On what planet is this the right thing to do?

Kimmel wants to continue the rhetoric of Hitler, Nazi and Trans Genocide that has the far left reveling in assassin culture. That has empowered Antifa. This had nothing to do with free speech - it was a war cry to continue the political violence and minimize Kirk's death.

There was no hatred with Kirk whatsoever, but the left will paint him as whatever they can to justify violence.

Crazy how there would be no debate if a KKK late night show host cheers on a lynching and keeps putting out dog whistles to continue doing so. Kimmel has real hatred like many on the far left.

Kimmel has the same hatred many on the far left do. He wants to continue assassinating people for not being able to debate them.

Nothing Kirk said was racist. He stated the fact that DEI makes people question the validity of minorities in professions like piloting. The left celebrates Floyd for robbing pregnant women and giving fentanyl to his p*rn star coworkers, Kobe for engaging in rape culture, but somehow when it's a white guy cheer on an assassination because of an out of context quote. It is truly the party of hatred and violence.

You need to get off social media. Kimmel is continuing the hate of Hitler? When did Kimmel ever call MAGA "scum" and "enemy who he wants to eliminate" just like Trump has said over the past few days?

Kimmel repeatedly said he condemned the murder and said repeatedly political violence is wrong. Your cult leader cant even say that.

Zero evidence the shooter was some far leftie. He never registered for a political party or ever voted in any election. He never supported Kamala or anyone in 2024 or biden in 2020.

On the same day of the Kirk murder there was a white supremacist who shot up a school who actually was a racist. Funny how yall never mention him

It all happened. I'm surprised you missed it. Usually you admit it did happen but should just be ignored.
Jimmy Kimmel suspension puts spotlight on Brendan Carr, Trump’s FCC chair https://share.google/0wRo4IEOLIdcaBWGM

    Here is the actual threat.
In fact it affected other media entities. They also understood the threat and refenced Carr's statement as reason for their action of censorship.

Here he is literally telling ABC to remove Kimmel

Shocked that you were ignorant of this.

    You quoted his words here:

"This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney,” Carr said in an interview on conservative commentator Benny Johnson’s podcast. “We can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel, or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead.”

Excatly. 'We can do things the easy way or the hard way" followed by the promise of the FCC doing additional work to make sure it happens is precisely the threat that I refenced.

    Thanks for masking my point.

Not only was it correct, your attempt to show it wasn't showed that it was.

    look
look, I'm not going to go back and re-litigate this entire thread, I don't have the time or the interest frankly.

"We can do things the easy way or the hard way" is in no way either:

    (a) "the head of the FCC called for Kimmel's suspension"; or
    (b) "the FCC said that the network should remove Kimmel from the air".

See... you're doing the same thing Kimmel did. He was radicalized by far left propaganda. He watched furry p*rn and had reddit trans sayings on the bullet casings. His text messages to his trans bf and the discord server he was in spell it out. Trans accounts on bluesky foreshadowed the killing and the exact way it would be done before the killing. Bluesky itself is an entire cesspool of assassination culture. You may be cheering this on because you paint Kirk as being on the other side but once it snowballs we have no democracy and everything goes to hell. It's not just democrat voters jumping ship after watching the reactions, many bosses at liberal places like CNN and MSNBC know this and are not doubling down on the "he had it coming" viewpoint despite spewing the Hitler rhetoric that radicalizes idiots online. Because you can build that case for anyone you disagree with politically and we have too many unstable people right now. For the sake of more people not dying the right thing to do would be keep Kimmel off the air, he's losing them money anyways. But now we get back to painting the other side as Hitler and Nazi and genociding Trans it's absolutely depressing.

The killer also used a WW era rifle from his grandfather that no gun law would have prevented. He didn't purchase anything. Radicals will use whatever they can to kill and plot it out so we need to focus on not radicalizing. BTW, after his assassination, no cities were burnt down, no businesses were set on fire, no one died in mob stampedes, just a bunch of vigils and prayers. That's what normal citizens want to be a part of.

The only possible thing is my use of the word 'suspended'. And yet Carr confirmed my use of the word was accurate when he proclaimed the FCC wasn't done yet.
