Sengun & Giannis clear up issues w/ joint statement

I am really disappointed in how Sengun spent his last two summers, partying 90%, recording stories 10%, also bashing NBA legends without any success to hide behind, 100% if NBA management had not forced Giannis to share that recovery post, Sengun would still be sending racist idiotic posts. Without winning anything. He lost to Schroeder in the last two minutes. He never won anything. Yet his ego is sky high. His crying to refs is sky high. I was a SOF, now I dont like him any more. SOF's will curse me. I am from Antalya, Turkey. His behavior has so many deep holes, it will be very hard to create a strong product. Marketing his covered mom while dating an ex stripper, praying muslimwise while drinking and partying every evening.. this is Hedo written all over it. He has peaked. and I do not like him anymore. So you hate him because he's a normal NBA player? Maybe it's a culture clash thing I dunno, where I'm from how devout somebody is in their religion isn't an issue, it's not even a discussion, the vast majority of people couldn't care less. Now, whilst I am aware that I come from one of the most secular places, I'm sure even my more religious family members do not care one iota about how closely somebody follows their religion, and whether their girlfriend doesn't wear a hijab whilst their mother does. Honestly that part just comes across as really weird, misogynistic and archaic to the culture I'm used to in 2025, and in fact, at any point in my 41 years of life, and I do have many Muslim friends and live in a city with many people of that religion.

I agree, I miss a time when people argued about sports and not the "politics" they had absolutely zero interest in for most of my life until somebody managed to convince everybody they had to pick a side and be a dick to each other.

I think it's clear that some of them fully live vicariously through Sengun. So when he doesn't do exactly what they want, they start crying and lashing out because he's supposed to be their proxy to live through, not a real person. It's truly very pathetic/tragic, but we shouldn't judge too badly because imagine how utterly horrendous your life must be to live like that? One shudders to think.

 

You don't have federal friends, you're just having a temper tantrum. Sorry, we live in the west, we know weirdos from Turkey aren't important to the way our countries are run at all, and are evidently significantly better educated about internet legislation than you are also. During the last WC I think there were some Mexicans singing "In the Falklands...English is spoken. In the Falklands....English is spoken...". A reference to the Falklands War where Argentina surrendered to the Brits. An Argentinian guy stood up and told them to stop and not to chant about that. Same as our "homophobic" puto chant.
