A team with the most IL stints in the history of the sport should be having rough season. I guess I'm supposed to write "Lmao" after that?
Framber single-handedly ruined our season and espada allowed him to do it. I am still not sure why he is still in the rotation. The clubhouse has got to be super toxic at this point.
"bump" doesn't work or mean s!!t when the previous post was a couple of hours earlier, you ****ing muppet
Currently the astros are 84-72. If you told me before the season that we would have the injuries we had i'd have expected around 75ish wins total. I don't think he's partically good, but the results i think are pretty impressive.
Don't you it would be considered a good job by Joe Espada considering all the injuries. Over .500 record with Yordan Alvarez mostly Out for the Year and Isaac Paredes mostly missing the 2nd half. Luis Garcia, Spencer Arrighetti, Josh Hader gone. Josh Hader should not come back this Season, very pointless and dangerous to injure himself further. Lance McCullers and Chas McCormick huge decline. Mostly the Players acquired were a band aid in Jesus Sanchez and Carlos Correa. Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Christian Walker, Jesus Sanchez are terrible in the Mariners Series, so many left on base. Zach Dezenzo has alot talent and he is out for the year.
We had the top of our rotation going at home. We were missing Yordan and Hader and then Pena for the last game. We got Paredes back. Should not have been swept. Maybe some folks are irritated with the collapse, excuses or not. and Walker has been a straight up disgrace. (Just had to throw that in)
All things considered, I'm not sure you can expect much more than what you got this season. It has been a very disappointing end, but the injury excuse is valid. I don't think Joe is anything special as a manager, but I don't think you should fire him under the circumstances.
