    national media are all noticing how dysfunctional the protection scheme is, where so many plays are dead at the snap because they can't make basic reads of a defense

    Aireontae Ersery was absolutely destroyed today. The blame absolutely rests on Nick Caserio for not addressing the OL better. Anyone could've seen this coming from a mile away which is why I was ringing the alarm bell throughout the off-season in this thread.

    We got less talent this year than last year and all yall suddenly expected them to become good bcz of a new scheme. Delusion

    Someone on Reddit made a point that an overlooked blunder by Nick was letting C Michael Dieter go to Washington for $9mi. The next year our OL sucks compared to the year before and CJ regresses bc the new Center (Jarret Patterson), who calls pass protection in the Shanahan system is booty cheeks.

    I’m starting to agree with this take.
