Sure, a tipped pass because the ball wasn't out on time. That's still on him.

I'm pretty sure you are tipping the reason you are sucking the kid off despite his pathetic performance and I find that to be in line with your character over the years. I mean, it's pathetic, but still in line with your demonstrated character.

You never fail to bring up race lol.

Stroud has been bad for the last 16 ish games.
    That isn’t debatable

Mike McDaniel went to Yale and was part of the Kubiack team here way back when. Josh McDaniels went to JC and is an utter failure when not coaching the Goat.

CJ has to be better. However, when the protection got better.....he looked better.

If there's no QB worth drafting, by all means, draft that elite LT, but when you don't have a competent QB, that isn't going to help the team win games. So that means you are just kicking the can down the road when it comes to finding a competent QB....sometimes that's the right move, but it's depressing for a fanbase that has nothing to look forward to.

Fire Caley, promote josh johnson start mills we'll find out if it's oline or cj already has Carr sacked syndrome, mills probably won't be any better but at least we'll get a high draft pick without paying stroud top qb money and get high draft picks to ger Archie (kidding) and oline, possibly trade cj for more picks. I love stroud but half way through last year I started thinking he wasn't elite, b4 I say this (possibly fire Ryans) if ur going to try and be a defensive juggernaut u need a game manager at qb who gives you a chance every series (stroud is a$$) but possibly fire Ryans

Thanks for the correction. I definitely want Mike McDaniel then, so it probably won't happen. We definitely need a John Carroll purge. Caserio has objectively been bad at trades and coaching hires. His drafting has been mediocre. Caley is terrible and a crony JC hire. And all the **** of the last several years started with Easterby. No more JC and Patriots garbage.

Stroud has not performed when he hasn't had protection. There is a correlation.

I don't wanna say it. But this looks like a wrap on the season.

The hole we've dug is already too deep given the monumental problems we're trying to fix.

Three winnable games against three middling opponents down the drain. You don't make the playoffs wasting opportunities like that.

Things are going to get very ugly once we start playing actual good teams.

We may only be favored in 3 or 4 games the rest of the year. Awful.

No, he didn't. When given all the time in the world, he still couldn't complete the most basic passes FAR too often. Pretending that it's acceptable for the QB to have 2 fourth quarter interceptions is absurd and there's no chance you'd be making those kind of excuses for anyone else....or rather anyone who looked different.

It's fine, be who you are.

Honestly we should be getting gashed even more up the middle. Interior DT has been a glaring hole for a while now. To Demecos credit he’s managed to coach/scheme a bunch of journeymen and castaways up. Something no one on the offensive side of the ball can do with the Oline.

I agree the line has been bad. CJ has also been bad.
There’s other teams and QBs that have dealt with the same pressure and still been able to perform.
Darnold did last season. Sam Freakin Darnold

Third straight game we had a chance to win, but didn't do it. Very frustrating team, they tease us into thinking there's chance, but fail to do what needed to finish with a victory.

Colts are whipping opponents and we're tied with Titans for bottom of the division. I wonder if I'm living in an alternate universe as I watch my two home teams (Texans and Astros) crumble in Sept.

We play the Titans next week, so someone has to get rid of the win goose egg. After next week we play the Ravens before a bye, so we're either 1-5 or 0-6. We should take the Titans, but we'll have to hustle to win another 4-5 games unless something dramatically turns around with our offense.

The up tempo offense we ran seemed to click, we need to do more of that and take some of the pressure off the OL and QB.

Defense is giving up 17 points a game. If you can't win with that you have issues.

Darnold had the 2nd BEST OFFENSIVE MIND in the NFL as a coach...whose system has been in place since 2022. Darnold has not looked the same in Seattle. Look at Caleb Williams, he has struggled with the lack of protection.

I just think if you have a chance at drafting an elite LT you take it every time. It's also harder to miss, like that first LT taken is rarely a bust. Easier to evaluate, a sure thing, yeah its not as exciting but I do think Stroud is worth seeing how he does when he has more talent around him.

You can draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round if you need to but this team NEEDS offensive talent too.

I'll ask, how many players on the offense do you think other teams are envious of?

It's Nico Collins...maybe Stroud for QB starved teams...outside of that? We don't have the talent on offense.

    I don't think we'll be drafting top 5 though, I imagine we'll have a 7-8 win season.

The 1st INT was a good play by the DB (Trevor was fooled by the same coverage). The 2nd was a tipped ball after the LT was beaten. The Nico fumble is the drive that hurt.
