    You guys thought it was going to be 1932 Germany when it was actually 1936 Spain all along.

    As Antifa is not an actual organization (unlike say the Proud Boys, Black Panthers, Black Israelites, KKK, 3%ers, Bloods, Crips, BGF, MS13, etc) but an ideology, everyone who disagrees with the administration is at risk of being labeled a member of Antifa.     President Trump is designating the anti-fascist antifa movement as a terrorist organization, according to a post he made during his state visit to the United Kingdom early Thursday U.K. time.

    What he's saying: "I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION," Trump wrote on Truth Social.



    • "I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices," he added.
    Context: Antifa is a decentralized, leaderless movement that's opposed to fascism and is loosely defined as far-left.

    • It can use direct-action protest tactics and an ADL report notes that while "some extreme actors who claim to be affiliated with antifa do engage in violence or vandalism at rallies and events, this is not the norm."
    Driving the news: Trump told reporters earlier this week that he would consider designating antifa a "domestic terror organization."

    • He added: "I would do that 100% and others also, by the way, but Antifa is terrible."
    The intrigue: Per the ADL, "Because there is no unifying body for antifa, it is impossible to know how many adherents are currently active."


    • Representatives for the White House and Department of Justice did not immediately respond to Axios' request for comment on Trump's plans for enforcing action against antifa.
    Flashback: During the first Trump administration, then-Attorney General Bill Barr said the DOJ would use its regional FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces to identify the "criminal organizers and instigators" of violence during George Floyd protests, including antifa.

    Isn't this sort of an admission that he's a fascist??

    I mean the "organization" is literally called ANTI-FASCIST. So if you are going after anyone anti-fascists because they are critical and oppose your regime than by definition you are admitting that you are in fact.... a fascist.

    ANTIFA aren’t Democrats. They really aren’t anything, I guess anarchists maybe? There is no leader or meetings… they are a convenient boogie man though.

    I’m sure the 1000 people in the country that identify as ANTIFA are worried… it’s not like they have jobs to risk losing.

    This administration is made up of p*****s. Not surprised I guess.

    That would be true if we didn’t know that Trump and his regime were just going to call everyone that isn’t MAGA Antifa. Kind of like how we all are radical socialist communists already. Does it stop Trump from calling me and you radical
    Communists because we don’t belong to the communists association of North America??

    I hope it’s all just a show but I will be shocked if Trumps doj and fbi do not stretch the definition of this label that allows them to use war like powers to deny due process and start throwing democrats in prison or worse just because a democrat dares say something critical of Trump.

    So does this mean he can kill anyone with military weapons now and claim it was Antifa he was killing? And conservatives will cheer that on?
