    Colbert and Kimmel and almost all of late nite suck but these cancelations feel extremely like people just kissing Trump's ring and not organic business decisions.

    All I know is that, short of maybe the DSA, MAGA is the biggest bunch of piss baby snowflakes I have ever seen in my life.

    ABC could've stood its ground. It capitulated just like all the other mega corporations that infect every facet of our lives. Tim Cook glazes Trump with gold gifts and cash donations at every opportunity and in response Apple gets Tariff exemptions for its core businesses.

    It's not illegal to say something the government disapproves of.

    ABC cant stand its ground because they need the government approval for their merger to go through. Any corporate merger has to get FTC approval which is why Paramount capitulated to Trump and hired right wingers to cover their news.

    This is oligarchy being too powerful

    Yeah on the same day the FCC demanded changes at the network or else they would be going after the company. I'm sure it had no correlation.

    I feel like if we just put Trump in charge of all of network TV he would probably lose interest in the presidency.

    Doesn't feel that good being on the other end of it, does it?

    Hopefully one day we can get back to more neutral news and get over this "you did it, so I'm doing it too", but I'd be lying if I said I didnt find this pretty funny.

    The FTC under biden didnt force big tech companies to capitulate to their wants or else they wouldn't approve a merger. The FTC under biden sued to break up Amazon, GOOGLE, meta and others.

    No FTC under any democratic administration forced corporations to capitulate to their wants or else they'd block a merger. You people are severely uneducated
