The online Right seems like they are splintering over this because there is increasing chatter from many right wing posters on Twitter that was done by Israel because Kirk was going to turn against them. I love a good conspiracy, but the truth is often a boring explanation instead.
Not surprising. Also not surprising the killing was some kind of "trans retribution" given the online footprint he left. What is surprising is that a not transgender (and possibly not even queer) Mormon kid from Utah (and all the baggage that comes along with that) would end up being the trigger man.

Nah, this guy had a long future as our voice. Of course not every opinion was perfect but his style and willingness to debate was unmatched. It stings.
South Park mocked his style perfectly. Anyone who "debates" with lies and half-truths isn't pushing for the greater good. And now you can't even say that without risking an FBI investigation and conservatives think this is good. Funny how the party so upset about gov't overreach when crimes are actually committed are so happy to use the gov't to shut down anyone they find distasteful. Just goes to show, that it was never about rights or state vs federal but always about power. Their power. Enjoy it. It won't last.
I've watched his debates. I have no problem with someone representing the conservative view point so long as it's done with facts and not lies. Kirk failed that repeatedly the few times I watched. In some cases, it was later revealed the :"liberal" he was debating with was actually a conservative all along.
