I'm just a stupid fan, but if I can see that they are going to blitz the **** out of us on third down, how does the team not?

Saying the "Texans pressure plan" suggests that they had a plan or that they could recognize pressure before it was too late.

The 4th and 10 play was the epitome of this season so far. We are being out coached, out played by 2 very good teams who will probably make the playoffs. 2 Exceptional QB`s in Stafford and Baker have taken this D to the woodshed. In hindsight not hiring an experienced OC was a horrible mistake, not shoring up this O Line was a horrible mistake. The problem on D of not wrapping up and missing tackles can be fixed, not having quality and depth on the O Line is another story, this is what we have, I don't see them trading for one guy...............TBH, we have one O Lineman who "should " be starting, the rest are simply back ups trying to start

Is this CJ`s last year to be paid on the cheap or do we get one more year? I have faith in CJ, I don't have faith in our OC or the O Line

Not giving it to Chubb three times in a row after Nico put it on the 1 still has me shook this morning. I bet even Marks could've put it in

and it was dumb to not go to Marks or use the playmaking rook on screens. Even if they sniff it out, Defense would have to account for it.

you keep saying that but it just isn't true.
    Halfway through last year:

What is true is that they don't have an adjustment for it.
On 3 3rd down attempts, receivers still had their backs turned as they ambushed the qb.

That isn't true, they literally were wide open and CJ didn't release the ball - at the least he isn't anticipating.....nor is he audibiling.

He was great against the blitz his rookie year, now, he isn't.

And teams are just gonna keep on coming until he punishes them.

    Rewatched the game.

Stroud could have easily had a 3 TD's 275 yard game.

    Bad throw to Watson
Good throw to Collins- ball hit him in both hands.

This team just doesn't make plays.

The play where it was zero pressure and Stroud through it to a LB who dropped it.

Obvious Zero pressure. Defense was playing DB's 7 yards off.

They had a safety on Nico Collins with tons of space up the middle..... Stroud's first look was Hutchinson with their number 1 corner on him.... he was breaking as soon as Stroud was going to throw the ball so he didn't pull the trigger and sack.

It was a really bad pre read. Horrible and not something you want to see out of a year 3 QB.

Other than those three plays, he was good. But they were all big plays.
