Before the Nick Chubb run, CJ was the leading rusher with 27 yards. THAT IS THE PROBLEM. When you can't run the ball and you have ONE elite WR and just an average TE, you are not going to win in the NFL.
#39 lost the game, the missed tackle on 4th down and the trying to hit hard that failed miserably on the last drive. Texans should hire Aikman as their defensive coordinator because he knew what the Bucs was going to run, or maybe their new head coach.
We had it at the one yard line and we had to try passing two times. That tells you everything you need to know about the O-line. They very weak up front. This could be a very bad season.
I don't think they will be 7-9, these were some very tough losses, some bad luck here and there, really poor tackling, then the run game was literally non-existent. Not sure Chubb has done enough to get 90% of the carries like he does. Going to be hard to pass the ball when you're struggling to run for 50 yards in a half. This is an early season wake up call but at least these two losses are to NFC teams, that's the only good news there.
