Ridiculous statement. Dare isn't out there if the coaching didn't believe he couldn't pick up that blitz
but he should be. He needs to get the ball out and when your blocking sucks you need to always be aware of that. It’s playcalling too. They aren’t helping him out.
Caserio should be on thin ice now. He had the entire off-season to fix the O-line and did the bare minimum.
It's so f**king pathetic that the entire world knew protection issues were the biggest problem, and the team decided trading their best lineman and "new voices" was enough to fix it.
Why not audible to a play that exploits their blitzing rather than hope that your backup guy can win a one on one block? It's the lack of adjustment that's causing the offense to stall out.
People gonna blame Stroud for that sack....Stroud is the best thing going for this organization but he doesn't have much outside of NIco on offense, including good coaching. The O-line is still ****, etc. Typical Texans ****.
