While stripping kameltoe of hers he only cares about self serving interests divisive and terrible human
He is right a deranged person might take the fascism accusation to its logical conclusion and commit a crime. But you don't refrain from calling a fascist a fascist because someone else might do something you don't approve of as a result. Trump is plainly an authoritarian who is undermining institutions of the republic to bend them to his will in an unconstitutional fashion. And, he has fascist allies in Congress, the courts, state governments, media and social media and elsewhere who are trying to help him do it. They are fascists. Oppose them. But please don't murder them. Perfectly reasonable to add more security because the threat of physical violence is real. But let's move past this 'take the temperature' down talking point. Neither side is willing to move first or have any team discipline to reduce their own dangerous rhetoric, so let's stop pretending.
Look, don't let the whiny snowflakes use guilt because they don't like what they are doing and what it is called. Facism is facism - no matter whether all those pedophile supporters like it or not. DD
I'll just disagree with the assessment of fascism and leave it at that. I agree that Trump engages in authoritarian rhetoric (mostly throwing red meat to his base), but for the most part he works clearly within a democratic framework and abides by legal decisions that go against him. I think he likes to test the limits of his own/presidential power, and is willing to "win some" and "lose some" as a result of those efforts. I think the fascism label is thrown about far too much and does nothing to help political debate.
That sure is a charitable view of Trump if I’ve ever heard one. Go look at how often he’s actually told no by Congress and the stacked Supreme Court and that’ll give you a good sense of why you chose to make that highly charitable assumption. When he was told no by the states, the courts, and Mike Pence in January of 2021, did Trump day “oh well… win some lose some”??? I’ll give you this much… his illegal actions that get put on hold by lower courts until the Supreme Court rules do show SOME limitations but that’s only because he knows his sycophants on the court will ultimately at least partially rule in his favor. His ambitions are clear though and I’m not going to be a frog in boiling water here… and I’m sure as hell not going to be gaslit by you by your constant propaganda that sand washes Trump and demonizes anyone from the pro democracy coalition of Americans.
I guess we will just disagree. 'Fascism' unfortunately is a term that is very confused in public discourse because defining it has become a political football. I know in my mind very clearly what I mean by it and I don't use it flippantly at all.
He also wants everyone to report on him in a good way, and retaliates against reporters, media, and everyone else who refuse to report only what he wants them to say. Screw free press and journalists. He wants to censor and retaliate against non-MAGA reporting. Trump is already suing The Wall Street Journal for $10 billion for its article linking him to his disgusting letter to Epstein. Just add another of far too many lawsuits to his list...... Trump sues 'New York Times' for $15 billion, alleging defamation "The 'Times' has engaged in a decades long method of lying about your Favorite President (ME!), my family, business, the America First Movement, MAGA, and our Nation as a whole," Trump wrote. "I am PROUD to hold this once respected 'rag' responsible, as we are doing with the Fake News Networks such as our successful litigation against George Slopadopoulos/ABC/Disney, and 60 Minutes/CBS/Paramount." In a statement released by a spokesperson, the New York Times Co. called the case meritless. "It lacks any legitimate legal claims and instead is an attempt to stifle and discourage independent reporting" the newspaper company said. "The New York Times will not be deterred by intimidation tactics. We will continue to pursue the facts without fear or favor and stand up for journalists' First Amendment right to ask questions on behalf of the American people." https://www.npr.org/2025/09/16/nx-s1-5543030/donald-trump-nytimes-lawsuit
I think people don’t clarify this enough in the media but fascism was a word essentially created to describe the very unique style of politics and governing that Mussolini defined pre ww2. Again it’s a style. IMO Trumps style of politics is very similar if not damn near spot on while Mussolini advanced further thus far in terms of governing with brutality and lawlessness even though Trump is racing forward to chase down his record as fast as possible. A couple murders of dissidents and there is a direct correlation. However his politics, mannerism, speech, and cult like following is certainly fascistic and in line with Mussolini. I doubt you’ll find a historian out there who will disagree much at all with the similarities in style while violent outcomes of course will be debated over time and our history. IMO we cannot self censor stating the facts and we certainly cannot be afraid to speak our minds about style. It would be like being afraid of being fired from ESPN for stating the opinion that Kobe Bryant is a similar style SG to Jordan while being clear that their careers had different outcomes and no two players are exactly the same. I think in that case we wouldn’t be so afraid to call out any snowflake that couldn’t handle their favorite players being called stylistically similar to another player just as we shouldn’t be afraid to call Trumpers here ridiculous snowflakes if they cannot handle the truth that Trump is a fascist in his style of politician and leader.
