the significance here is this was a terror attack aimed directly at the 1st Amendment, against the leader of a political movement. Not to mention the fact that Kirk was there to engage in political debate, not just speak.

Look - I am sick of the amount of bandwidth gives to trans issues, they make up a microscopic amount of the population and they are way down the list of issues in this country. I did not like how the Democrats under Biden handled the situation at all, and I don't appreciate how Trump and the Republicans are now either.

Having said that - there is no secret black ops of trans people organizing and planning terrorist acts. As far as "support", define what you mean by that?

Are there trans people that don't feel a lot of pity that someone that called them an "abomination" and actively attempted to influence against this is dead? Yeah there are trans people that feel that way, I am sure. However that doesn't mean that they had any involvement in any of this.

I guess it is easier to watch as all the checks and balances in the government are eroded and corruption increases when you are distracted with claims that illegal aliens are raping and destroying cities at record levels and that trans people are collaborating to overthrow the Republic.

I would just warn that this type of behavior can go both ways - and when/if a charismatic "leftist" comes into power and benefits from class warfare, it won't be so funny when the boogie man is rightwing and civil rights are thrown out the window.

All of this "my team is better than your team" stuff is nonsense and people are profiting off of lying and causing division.

You're right about the murders every day . You call this a terror attack that is not what this was one person that was shot and killed. Had the suspected shooter killed several of those college students that a terror attack. This was a attack aimed at the 1st Amendment the suspect for all we know may have just not like kirk and sawa chance to attack him. We all have the right to free speech here in America.
