I repeat... Sark cannot open his playbook to show his arrogant genius with Arch ... pretty much the same way Ewers couldn't unlock it last year.. This leads to the typical 3rd quarter collapses we've grown accustomed to over the last few years... Just run the ball and get outta here with a double digit W... He'd rather try and score 70 and tire out his own defense while trying
Was at the game today. Thank God for all of the takeaways, or else this game could’ve gotten uncomfortable. Penalties were somehow worse, and the secondary has some work to in terms of coverage. But I still didn’t like the run blocking. It needs to get better real quick. I know it’s a bunch of new starters, but I felt like they failed to win their matchups consistently. Arch was better this week, but there’s more room to grow. Someone other than Parker has to step up in the WR group; hopefully, Wingo can pick it up (this week wasn’t better than last week).
Can't remember the name of their Samoan(?) DT/NT, but he gave the Horns' interior OL all they could handle and more, all game
The penalties were inexcusable. There was a moment early in the game, when we roughed their punter and then tried to stupidly field a punt with a defender in the face, where I thought we'd fully drank the preseason "rat poison" Saban used to hate. Two more weeks to fine tune some stuff. Florida doesn't look so scary after yesterday, but I'm worried OU will be undefeated going into the shootout.
It is pretty clear that Manning is inherently inaccurate - I can't recall a guy that is that bad at accuracy ever developing into a star. DD
Arm strength at the combine and the last name gonna get some dumb ass GM to draft him in the top of next years draft...
No way, not with that inaccuracy, he will stay at Texas because he may not even be drafted, NFL scouts aren't that stupid. Sark should probably be warming up someone else - to put pressure on Arch, if he can't handle it tough ****, transfer. The team will start to question Arch and at that point the season is over unless he is replaced....hell a journeyman QB would have won at OSU - Arch is really bad.....I mean EPICALLY bad at throwing the ball. DD
David ash was better than this. This is starting to look like Garret Gilbert, as much as saying that makes me shudder.
Yeah, but no one listens to me about whom to draft @Major , I freely admit I thought he would be good, based upon all the other hype......totally wrong. And EWERS DID SUCK - look at where he was drafted, maybe they both suck.......which looks to be the case. Thank god for Transfer portal - who is the backup? Might be time to warm him up. DD
