A month after a school shooter made an “OK” hand sign post, mentioned above, another teenager in Nashville made the exact same joke before allegedly shooting classmates at their high school. ProPublica found they crossed paths several times in these online communities, and the Nashville shooter was making a deliberate reference to his fellow community member. Which is what is so existentially terrifying about our current political moment.

So, every time there is a shooting, Trump immediately blames the Radical Left. Then, the evidence comes in and reality sets in. Trump is full of it yet again. That's a Trump Fact for you. It's the same playbook over and over. When someone does something he interprets as against him, then he immediately goes on the "so-and-so is a loser and has been for a long time" press tour. It's just so predictable with this guy. At least he's consistent. How anyone sees any credibility there is beyond me?

 

Good luck getting the general public to understand the the motivations of a 20-something with terminal brain rot. The initial wrong reports of "trans ideology" already landed with the intended audience and it's a lot easier for them to understand than the online stew this guy existed in. He might not have shared the exact politics of the Minnesota shooter, but they swam in similar ponds full of nihilistic memes.

 

Fuentes doesn’t have the reach or power that Kirk did - but he is doing well. He can afford multiple body guards, despite being repeatedly deplatformed has around a million followers and gets lots of media coverage and is well known with young people.

Yeah, Fuentes is doing fine. But he's hardly a flea on a dogs ass compared to Kirk in terms of wealth and power.
