My views of republicans/trumpers/MAGA has reached an all time low. It’s not their fault as much as it is mine for being ignorant. I had no idea that groypers existed. I barely understood who Nick Fuentes is and had no idea about his feud with Charlie Kirk. With all this, I am just getting up to speed on Kirk, Fuentes and groypers. I have made many statements about how MAGA was anti education, anti science, anti facts, low brain power, confirmation bias deluded morons that live in echo chambers. I was clearly too soft in my assessment. The reaction by Trump, Republican lawmakers and CF MAGA to the killing of Charlie Kirk was revealing, if predictable. That is boring and expected ground. I am fascinated to see what happens when mainstream media begins to report on Groyper, the Fuentes/kirk beef, and whether anyone goes after Fuentes. The murder of Kirk has peeled back an additional ugly layer of the diseased alt right. I am sure there are a lot of people like me who were completely unaware of the extent of this problem. Democrats need to push on this hard - Tyler Robinson is the poster child of what’s going on in MAGA world, and why it must be rejected and gone from American politics.
