What I’m seeing in the news suggests he was into Antifa.

Common thread with all these shooters is that they get into these nihilistic online communities that glorify violence and retribution. The target could be Republicans or could be Democrats. They tend to be young online males, which skews right-wing at present, but Antifa is another outlet for them to express their rage at the world.

Anyone trying to exploit this tragedy to silence political critique (such as calling out hateful rhetoric) is doing a **** job of honoring the memory of a guy who purportedly really cared about free speech.
