I am curious to see if we make adjustments to fix the O Line issues from game one, this will be a big test as we could not do it last year. After watching the Packers game, I am very jealous as I don't think Love is better than CJ, but the way that team plays is the way I want our offense to run.........it just sucks because we have the D, but our Offense has just looked like a disaster for the last year and I am ready to "show" us what ya`ll have been doing for the last 8 months, my gosh last week can't be the final product. It might be just me, but since last season CJ doesn't seem to be having fun, he used to be upbeat but now.....not so much. I personally don't think Love or Daniels are better than CJ, but they have a good offensive scheme and they are thriving while CJ is running for his life every week, albeit some of that is on him also. He is about to get PAID and I feel we have wasted 2 years of trying to maximize on his rookie deal.........this will be a good test, no prediction on my part as I don't really know who or what this team is It's time for Demeco to show us why we put so much faith in him
Their head coach is one of the brightest offensive minds in football and has been there since 2019, which includes every single year of Jordan Love's professional career. Are you really going to suggest the situation in Green Bay is in any way similar to the situation here in Houston?.......
We're turning on DeMeco now? This is where we are? Do you think Andy Reid is tough-minded? Doug Pederson? Bruce Arians? Pete Carroll? Tony Dungy? Hell, Gary Kubiak won a Super Bowl - wasn't he too nice? There is no method to this madness. A coach's persona doesn't compensate for their lack of knowledge, ability and/or experience, which is how we should evaluate coaches. Not how they handle the media when job 1 of that requirement is to present a calm, patient demeanor, regardless of what might be happening on the practice fields and in the locker room. You can criticize him for a number of things. And he may end up being a bad head coach. But the idea he doesn't fit some narrow, conveniently-constructed outline of the "right" kind of coach is just utter silliness.
CJ does not look like a happy camper. He was hit so many times last year that he is gun-shy. The "coaches" are on the clock. The owner has "flipped" a bunch of coaches, and he is likely to do it again. Caley was super hyped, but after week one, he doesn't seem like he is any better than Slowik, and that is beyond disappointing.
Wait, so who was the RT in this scenario. And please, if Tytus falls from a scooter and mildly sprains his ankle, please don't change all 5 before the game.
