Absolutely a net positive. He was able to hear differing opinions and remain positive/cal/respectful. Use Clutchfans as an example. We are at each others throats for disagreeing whether a man should go in to a girls bathroom. Charlie was a better guy than us in that respect. We need to be better in that regard. If everyone could operate in that demeanor, life would be 10x better for everyone. The world is a dangerous place due to lack of emotional control.

If you’re calmly saying some kids will die to gun violence and they’re casualties of war , it doesn’t make it any less abhorrent. He was a grifter hack, but a human nonetheless and didn’t deserve that. turning him into a saint really speaks to the character you guys espouse
They have a clear picture but don't want to release it because they want to try and identify the shooter through other means? If the goal is to prevent him from running/hiding, why would you say you have a clear picture of him? The shooter knows who he is. He would go ahead and do those things if he hasn't already based on that information. Feels like you would be giving an extra head start unless it is a bluff.

The Bible is full of enough contradictions that pretty much anybody, murderous psychopath or pacifist hippie, can be a follower of Christ.
