Yes. He would invite people to debate him. But his Turning Point company Charlie Kirk was one of those that received money from Tenet group that was funded by Russians to spread misinformation. Misleads on White House Vaccine Policy -

I can't imagine how mentally disturbed someone is to have so much hate festering up inside them that they would want to kill someone who shares different beliefs. It's a sickness. Whether it's political, racial, gay hate, or anything else it takes a disturbing and mentally ill person to want to kill those they hate. Nobody deserves to die because they share different beliefs. Nobody.

I didn't agree with his viewpoints, but I would never even consider doing something so sick.

Did Kirk have any enemies - it seems politically motivated, but he took money from Russia - until we know this could be anything, hell the guy who ALLEGEDELY shot at Trump was a Republican.....we don't know who did this yet.

And I don't agree that some folks shouldn't be killed for their beliefs......there are some folks so heinous the world is better without them - imagine if you are a Jewish person in 1941 - wouldn't you think killing Hitler was ok?

Teachers, students, CEOs, judges, politicians, refugees, worshipers, doctors, scientists, all victims of targeted and random violence. The ones that profit from spreading disinformation and demonizing the other shouldn't be shocked when violence shows up at their doorstep. I'm sure Charlie is happy to have paid the acceptable cost of freedom that he loved to espouse.

When I heard Kirk was assassinated I immediately felt for his wife and children and how senseless it is to die at basically 30 years old. Having said that I am mostly concerned about the health of the world and the USA. The violence, rhetoric and power grabs are out of control and if division doesn’t simmer down, this will only get worse.

 

He was willing to sacrifice kids so he can go pew pew.

I don't condone violence ever but spare me the "charlie kirk was a hero.."

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a Utah farmer who shot Charlie Kirk. Farmers are upset because they are losing there farms because of tariffs.

 

With a modern AR and scope yes. People bringing up Lee Harvey aren’t taking into account what a piece of garbage that bolt action rifle was. Also that was a moving target while this gunman could have had an hour to lock in on his target.

This was truly a failure of law enforcement and security. The sheriff saying proudly that they had SIX officers for a crowd of 3000 is insane.

Plus the gun laws in Utah are… yeah.

It was a pinpoint shot to the artery. That is where it seems the shooter was trained. That is a cruel way to go.

I get your point, but don't think you can compare someone like Kirk to Hitler. Hitler was killing and torturing, thousands of Jews and people he deemed unworthy. He had brown shirts picking and choosing babies to either kill or steal.
That's an entirely different situation than some male cheavanistic right wing extremist who didn't hesitate to spew his racial and gender related toxicity.

You can't put him in the same category as leaders who Inflict horrific crimes against humanity as Hitler, Putin, Netanyahu, North Korea, China, or the Saudis. Yet, this is where we are. We have a President coddling up to some of the worst of the worse, and refusing to denounce leaders of countries doing far worse things than than Kirk spewing his right wing male cheavanistic viewpoints.
