Mariners hardly have any road games left. They have the third easiest schedule remaining filled with almost all home games where they have thrived all season. Got to nut up or shut up.
One might say that the Mariners are still in the driver's seat for the division. Doesn't mean they'll take it tho.
The weakness of this team is the bullpen. The weakness of the bullpen is walks. The Astros do not get starters out of games early to take advantage of a weak bullpen. They do not walk a lot to maximize the potential against wild relievers when they are actually in the game. Not exactly a good matchup. At least all 3 starters are veterans and not rookies with a 7.50 ERA they have never seen.
It’s time to step up. Right now. What a **** sack second half. Terrible team. Either start showing up and playing winning ball or go the **** home, Astros. **** the excuses. Nobody cares.
I’m thinking they win one. Like 9-1. And then score 3 runs in the other 2 games. That Garcia gives up a HR or 2 tonight.
