Justifying discrimination by law enforcement officials because private citizens routinely engage in this in personal interactions is a ridiculous argument.
Is it discrimination by law enforcement to station a DWI checkpoint on Saturday night near the bars? Or is that playing the statistics? Is it discrimination by law enforcement to allocation more patrols to the high crime areas of town, such as near the University of Houston? Or is that playing the statistics? Is it discrimination by law enforcement to look for illegals in the Home Depot parking lot? Or should they look at the River Oaks Country Club Mens Grill? Again... playing the statistics... It's logic, amigo -- common sense logic. GOOD DAY
We are talking about racial profiling, which the courts over and over have affirmed is unconstitutional despite you trying to justify it on the grounds it is “common sense”. That racial profiling is common in personal interactions does not make it a legitimate tactic for law enforcement.
Read what you wrote out loud. Then tell me that's a good idea with private equity gobbling up everything, squeezing the common man with monopolies and forcing people to take government money and then not being able to vote is a good idea? Those are the people who NEED to vote to end corporate oppression. Otherwise, it's a vehicle to disenfranchise voters one at a time. Next thing you know, you'll have to be a landowner or veteran to vote. Be smart. It's a long game.
@El_Conquistador remember when the MAGA told you slashing medicaid was somehow only going to impact illegals and not lead to any shutdowns?
Thats what happens when you vote party over country, or a "name"......................read his friggin policies in his 2025 manifesto. Keep believing he will lower prices at the grocery stores, that MFG is coming back and everyone will have great paying Union jobs (PS-he hates Unions), he will end the wars (then changed DOD to DOW) ..................you were bamboozled, but hey, you "Own the Libs" for a few years. I won't be shocked if someone ends up dying because they can't get to a hospital
Latest estimates show 40k people will die every year due to the medicaid cuts. Rural America is about to get destroyed
these mindless drones will be in the hospital dying after it took them 2+ hours to drive to the nearest one, and right before they flatline, their last words will be "Hey Cletus, tell me, d-d-did I own da libs?"
none of the MAGAts will care because they don’t actually give a sh*t about rural America just like they don’t give a sh*t about the troops, their daddy hasn’t told them to pretend to care about it, and because it happened in California they act like California is 99% Democrat even tho it has more of these low IQ MAGA than any other state
@Reeko damn another 3 hospitals shutting down cuz of Trump. Thats 4 hospitals this week alone shutting cuz of Trump Brutal hundreds of lives will be lost
Ideally we would not have voting at all. We would have a bedrock of guaranteed rights and the government's only purpose would be to protect those rights. Limiting the vote to net taxpayers is the compromise position.
In 200 years, there won’t be any taxpayers. No voters. Utopia. In the meantime, voting is a fundamental right in a democracy, last I checked. But of course, not everyone is happy about democracy.
They pumped hundreds of millions of dollars into the last election to elect trump, and trump gave them exactly what they asked for, tax cuts amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars. The big payoff for them, and a huge pain for the states and their citizens, both Democratic and Republican.
This is an article from last month. Rural America is going to suffer because of Trump, but he has bigger things on his agenda. He wants unlimited power and the Trump family empire making billions with his name, power, and policies!!! He wants to rule the world, and bully everyone to do as he says. 13 of Ky’s 71 rural inpatient hospitals at risk of closing August 13, 20241,323 Views 6 of them at immediate risk, a national policy center estimates https://www.lanereport.com/175789/2024/08/13-of-kys-71-rural-inpatient-hospitals-at-risk-of-closing/
