This has intrigued me but I have not tried it yet I'll add it to the list I been watching Raising Kanan. Season 4 Rocket River
Just watched Invasion S3E3 on Apple TV+ and I'm done with it. The acting and the premise are both OK but it moves way too slow and I'm tired of the piecemeal plot approach that makes you wait for the final 2-3 episodes for the whole to come together. For that to work, the side journeys must be more interesting.
The Outlaws (amazon) I've only watched season 1+, but it's good, and fun, and you get some Walken doing and saying Christopher Walken things. But he's far from the main character(s). There's a scene in the last episode of S1 where he's in the room getting interviewed by the police, that is one of the funniest things I've ever seen him do.
Foundation S3 is almost over and it's been an absolute banger. I know it's different from the books. However, just like Wheel of Time was different from the books and S1 sucked, by S2 and S3 the show was in full force (and unlike Wheel of Time it hasn't been cancelled). Don't let the changes from the book stop you from watching one of the best sci-fi shows in TV.
Invasion is mediocre TV at best. I've watched S1 and S2 and literally just has loads of filler. S2 was better and didn't wear out my skip button, but at best it's still somewhat boring.
Just saw a trailer for "The Lowdown" on FX later this month...it looks very Fargo-ey and pretty awesome. eta: judge for yourselves
Man, been rewatching Black Mirror just for funsies. Haven't seen Bandersnatch or the new season, so that'll be fresh. But just got to Nosedive and it made me physically ill watching it. It made me so uneasy watching it from the fakeness of everybody, the fragility of the social rating, all made me feel so much anxiety. I didn't feel that way when I watched it 10 years ago.
Episode 1 of this last season, about a couple dealing with the wife's brain tumor through a subscription medical service with escalating fees, probably gave me more anxiety than any tv show ever.
Started watching "The Affair" and am on Season 3, its really good................10 years old but still good
I watched 15 minutes or so. I was bored which surprised me because The Terminal List was somewhat interesting. This one bored me. May have to give it another try.
Not sure if I'm up to watching a documentary about him, but Phil Hendrie's was the most unique radio show I ever listened to. Art Bell was another unique guy, but he wasn't in the same galaxy of creativity as Hendrie.
