Well, it doesn’t help when every play is a 7 step drop. Thats what a quick game is supposed to be for.

I thought we were reportedly trying to trade Cam Robinson a couple of weeks ago, but then I see him starting at left tackle. Am I thinking about another Cam?

The Rams are fine. They aren’t special. They’re about like the Texans but with much better coaching.

I personally don’t think they played a bad game, even on offense. The expectations in here were WAY too high. First time OC calling plays against the team he just left. Basically new WR room outside of Nico. A starting RB who hasn’t played in two years. An oline that unfortunately had to make changes close-ish to game time. Arguably two of the three sacks taken CJ could have avoided throwing it away or not just drifting backwards. That was also a well coached division winner (past SB champ) opponent on the road.
Can they improve? Certainly and they will with more time and experience on offense together.

Step up where? Into a collapsed pocket?

This reminds me of when Kubiak was forced to hire Wade Phillips and leave the defense to him.

They need an OC who can be left alone.

Watching this game made me think they were playing to win on defense and were timid on offense. That seems like a Demeco decision.

There were multiple plays he could have stepped up, instead he drifted or ran into a sack.
    Multiple

McVay was the superior version of his protege Caley. Stafford was the superior version of his admirer Stroud. Demeco neutralized the D advantage by not adjusting to Nakua. Even with o-line still a work in progress, that was the ball game

2 of the 3 sacks were on CJ. He literally walked into one of them

The expectations are too high to expect one touchdown?

Yes, you weren't exactly clever by predicting a blowout that definitely didn't happen.... be a man and admit you were wrong.

1 of only 2 teams not to score a TD in week 1.

did we even make it past the Rams 25yd line today?

He keeps putting Pitre on top WRs - Pitre isn’t a CB!!

we’ve seen this 3-4 years now!

Also that Pierce run after the dropped pass .. stupid

Both defenses were pretty great. As expected.

I was surprised we ran the ball as well as we did.

    It was Game One.

    Move on.

The Bills make it look so easy to score a TD, even against the Ravens. Drive down and throw a TD pass into the end zone, even with 2 defenders on the receiver. Why do we always make that look so hard to do?
