According to the MAGAs in this thread mass deportations would open up tons of new jobs for americans as they were stealing everyone's jobs?

Any of the MAGAs wanna tell us why the jobs reports are the worst we've seen in decades even though were mass deporting everyone?

Few, if any, are saying immigration to the United States should be stopped. People oppose illegal immigration.

    What a weak strawman.

I thought illegals were stealing black nd poor people's jobs ? @El_Conquistador @Commodore @raining threes @Corrosion I thought the solution for lower income individuals was mass deportations as the mexicans were stealing everyone's jobs?

every single narrative that the MAGATs spewed in this thread came out wrong.

Democrats touted an investment in a Hyundai plant in Georgia... then staffed it with illegals. Why are liberals so dishonest? Instead of giving African Americans the jobs, they gave Koreans the jobs. Unreal.

I'm pretty sure everyone but the most abject racist/nationalists have never disputed that.

There's a better way, other than black-bagging brown people on the streets and mailing them to Uganda.

Why is nobody interested in actual immigration reform?

Liberals are now referring to rape and pedophilia as 'sex' and 'beautiful'.

These law abiding, tax paying immigrants are the ones they want to deport, shame on this admin and all of their supporters. I wish these folks and their establishment a long, healthy, and prosperous life...

What do you expect when they are following the orders of a nut job in the White House who doesn't speak out and condemn leaders who commit crimes upon humanity, like Putin and Netanyahu?

What kind of mentally unfit and deranged psycho posts this kind of stuff? He's sick in the head threatening war on American cities, after laying out the red carpet for Putin, and wining and dining with Netanyahu as his troops bomb limbs off children.

This kind of posting from our President is repulsive, disgusting, extremely disturbing, and dangerous. He's obviously sick in the head, and should be impeached for being mentally unfit to serve.

I hate to think that Americans can be so enamored with Trump that they could care less about the Constitution, Democracy, human rights, and abuse of power. That madman is threatening war in our country and using the military as his political pawns, to attack anyone "he" decides to call a national threat. He just wants to attack Democratic mayors and governors he despises, by taking over their cities with military force, like some deranged wannabe authoritarian/dictator.

He's even threatening to revoke citizenship of those who don't like him. It's complete madness. To him you aren't a worthy American citizen if you don't love living in our country with him leading it. What a narcissistic psycho.

You sure as hell don't see him spew the kind of hatred and threats like he does on Americans towards Putin and Kim Jong Un. Nope, and they know he never will. He idolizes them, and wants them to feel the same about him. I bet they have a few laughs over that.

I've known @raining threes for at least 25 years.

I can tell you without question that there isn't a racist bone in that dude's body.

Someone needs help, he'll give the shirt off his back - race be damned. He's helped me out many times over the years ....

When it comes to immigration, I don't understand why we cannot seem to differentiate between legal and illegal.

None of us have a problem with Legal Immigrants.

What we have a problem with is the illegal group - Illegal has nothing at all to do with the color of one's skin, there are illegals from all over the globe and every shade of human.

Just look across the pond at how many European countries are cooling on the idea of immigration. Eventually it destroys a countries culture and it's economy. Most of the natives want them out .....

Look at Hyundai (or Tyson) ..... I thought it was only jobs us Americans don't want - now it's Quality Jobs.

    Here you go dum dum...

The Trump Administration Moves to Reinstate Restrictions on Legal Immigration Proposed in First Term

As we continue to see sweeping changes to immigration enforcement inside the United States, the Trump administration has also begun taking steps to restrict immigration to the United States. Over the past two weeks, the Trump administration announced that it was intending to bring back multiple policies from Trump’s first term that will restrict immigration.

Here’s what we know: After taking office, President Trump issued an executive order aiming to reconstitute the “extreme vetting” policies of his first administration. These actions add significant red tape and administrative barriers to the legal immigration system and are likely to raise the cost and difficulty of obtaining a visa for people seeking to enter the United States legally.

    • Expanded biometrics & surveillance: On August 11, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) took steps to restart the process towards implementing a 2020 proposed regulation (subsequently withdrawn by the Biden administration) to vastly expand biometric collection by over 60% for immigration benefits. The rule would authorize USCIS to collect not only fingerprints as it does now, but also iris scans, palm prints, DNA (even from U.S. citizens), and voice prints from applicants for benefits. It would also authorize USCIS to engage in “continuous immigration vetting,” subjecting all noncitizens to increased levels of automated surveillance. The proposed rule could be opened to comments any time in the next few months.
    • New visa restrictions: On August 7, a proposed regulation cleared final review at the White House that would attempt to eliminate “duration of status” for foreign students, researchers, exchange visitors, and international media on F, J, and I visas, and instead cap each status at a maximum of four years. Currently, foreign students on F visas, researchers and exchange visitors on J visas, and members of the international media on I visas are generally admitted for the “duration” of their program, meaning they are not required to repeatedly renew visas so long as their status remains unchanged. This regulation was first proposed in 2020 but was never implemented. The previous regulation also contained even stricter limitations on visas from certain countries with high visa overstay rates, primarily African countries. If implemented now, the regulation would force many international students to have to navigate the process of renewing their visas internationally before completing their course of study, at risk of being unable to do so — adding costs and uncertainty and further reducing the attractiveness of American higher education. Once the regulation is proposed, there will a period for public comment.
    • Renewed “visa bond” program: On August 5, the Trump administration announced a new “visa bond” pilot program, reinstating a proposal first proposed in 2020 but never implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under this plan, beginning on August 20, the Trump administration will require any visa applicant from Malawi or Zambia applying for a tourist visa to pay a $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 refundable “visa bond” and restrict entry for those people to three specific U.S. airports. While the program’s impact is limited (given that only 11 such visas were issued in Fiscal Year 2024), the administration could easily expand the program to additional countries. This pilot program layers on top of a mandatory $250 visa bond fee for all non-immigrant visa applicants as mandated by Congress in H.R. 1.
    • New Diversity Visa requirements: On August 5, the Trump administration proposed a new regulation which would require applicants for a Diversity Visa to have a valid passport at the time of applying for the Diversity Visa lottery. In 2019, the first Trump administration attempted to implement this rule without going through standard rulemaking procedures, which resulted in the policy being overturned in court in 2022. When first implemented in 2019, the rule led to Diversity Visa lottery applications dropping by more than half (with the largest drop concentrated among African countries), as many individuals applied for the lottery before spending money on getting a passport they might not need. Comments on this rule are due on September 19.
Why is this important? These regulations would significantly increase the red tape and expense of obtaining a visa for many people seeking to come to this country and will reduce the competitiveness of the United States in the global market for talent. This may impact hiring among several industries which rely on foreign talent, including doctors who practice in rural hospitals with J visas. In addition, government collection of millions of biometric profiles of immigrants and noncitizens infringes on core civil liberties and privacy rights.

Read his posts in this thread. His position is:

    1. Too bad if LEGALs get swept up and deported. It’s only a few. Oh well. Tough sh-t. Oh well, too bad if it is brown legals.

    2. Too bad if due process and laws are violated in deporting people. Ain’t got no time for due process or the law. Too bad if it’s all brown people who are denied due process.

    3. Don’t care if Trumps black shirts crack some heads. They’re ALL criminals, murderers and rapists anyway. Too bad if it is all brown people who get branded as murderers and rapists by Trump and his bubba MAGA community.

    4. Loves loves loves him some Donald Trump. Continues to stupidly assert that the US economy does not depend on exploitation of cheap illegal labor, when Donald Trumps own policies concede that they can’t and won’t deport illegal immigrants in agriculture, construction and restaurant/hospitality.

So you define what racist means to you. Is one racist only if you openly call for the lynching and murder of a particular race or group of people?

Or is it also racist to say oh well too bad if a race or group of people are targeted and multiple laws are broken against them?

Or maybe racism is justified because according to @rainingthrees, the millions of illegals are all here bc of the Dems?

(Important aside - perhaps the best thing you can do is to explain to him the statement that you made that I applauded - illegal immigration is the creature of dem and republican presidents since Reagan. He won’t have it. It is solely a Dem created issue. If his ability to blame the Dems solely for illegal immigration is taken away, maybe he will be less racist. But I doubt it. He doesn’t like facts.)

He spent pages of posts in this thread beating the table for law law law. We must follow the law. Deport them all. Oh really.

    - why isn’t Donald following the law? Why won’t he deport illegals being exploited for cheap labor in agriculture, restaurants and construction?

    - why has Donald violated multiple laws in deporting illegals to random countries? (Oh right, every judge who rules against Donald is a corrupt Dem (false, many are Trump appointees) and deep state cover, blah blah blah).

    - relatedly, is it legal for Donald to fabricate national crises to use the national guard? (Nope, Donald is losing that issue in court as well. But don’t tell raining threes. It’s all corrupt judges probably. (Psst - the reality is he doesn’t actually care if it is illegal. Send in the troops to clear out the black and brown people. It’s never been about “the law”.)

*** In sum, it is easy to see the intellectual, legal and moral problems with all these positions. You decide if there is racism in them.

What is especially galling to me is that immigrant communities, including illegal immigrant communities, are some of the hardest working, good people in this country. They out work other “low wage earners”. They are family oriented. Branding them all as criminals, rapists and murderers is ridiculous and morally outrageous.

It is entirely possible to deport illegals without any of these issues. But let’s not kid ourselves. Trump wants to put on a show. Cruelty and terror is the point. And his supporters want it that way and love it. And it doesn’t matter one bit if laws are broken or if brown people are targeted.

What am I talking about? I was responding to a direct question from Corrosion about Raining Threes. Did you miss the context of the discussion? I missed the part where Corrosion asked me something about Astros123.
