Modest Mouse at 713 last night. Was supposed to be with The Flaming Lips but they had to back out for a family emergency within the band. Modest played an extended set and it was really fantastic. I'm not terribly into to their stuff but I genuinely enjoyed the show and 713 is a great venue.
I took my teenage sons to see Tyler the Creator, Lil Yachty and Paris Texas in Auckland. It was pretty cool and the crowd was very happy. I was the oldest person there by 10 years, at least, so that was nice.

Is Oysterhead ever gonna play again? One of my favorite shows was them at New Orleans Jazz Fest. [in case you don't know: Trey Anastasio from Phish on guitar, Les Claypool from Primus on bass, Stewart Copeland from The Police on drums]
Oasis in Chicago was simply amazing. I’ve been to hundreds of concerts and it was definitely a top five. soldier field was a very cool venue and actually sounded pretty good. The band themselves sounded amazing and had a lot of energy. They played 24 or 25 songs all of them great and the crowd singing along to essentially every one. there wasn’t enough time for me to see them again during this US leg of the tour. I hope in the future to be able to see them one more time.
Got Taking Back Sunday and Coheed and Cambria in Austin next week. Saw Coheed with Incubus last year and they put on a great show.
Which Avett Bros show did you go to? When/where is Billy Strings? I've recently started getting in to him/them.
That's not close to TX. Avett is my favorite and I never miss a chance to see them. Such a good live show. Seeing them at Red Rocks last year was a bucket list item crossed off.
Brown Sabbath is at the Mohawk tonight, one night only. Wish I could go, but someone around here should
Has anyone on this forum been to the Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory? I'll be in Dallas in Oct and thinking about seeing the Lord Huron show a second time. Curious if it is a decent venue and any recommendations on seating (ie floor vs. one tier up)
