Russell Westbrook has done a lot of charities and still has investment ties with OKC the City...... He is not the player KD is but he is loved there, it is night and day. I just think KD the Person does not care that much about anything other than putting a ball into the hoop, he does not have a big heart for cities. Not what you understand under a 'Nice Person', you would not care if he did not play for your team.
Durant gave $1 million to OKC tornado victims and got Nike to donate a bunch of clothes. His act compelled the Thunder to also give $1 million. But sure, he only cares about himself. People are complex and complicated—becoming a celebrity at a young age can only add to it. If they don’t behave the way you would, that’s OK.

Please. A quick search shows he formed a formal charity aimed at helping youth in his hometown. He’s also given millions to UT and groups outside of his hometown. He’s not perfect and I certainly didn’t like him going to GS, but attacking him this way is peculiar and says much more about the attacker than KD.
