Game's not until 3...where there's a will there's a way. They're all Cowboy fans, naturally, so they don't have a game on Sunday, but to the man they all love the Texans as their 2nd team.
It all comes down to the OL. If they play just average we’d be cooking with gas. If it’s like last year this is a loss.
Can't go wrong with either, but proper fajitas with all the trimmings is possibly my favorite meal on earth.
Smoking 3 racks of spare ribs Sunday morning, taking advantage of it being a late game. Ready for some Texans football....I hope...
I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get blown out, embarrassed and get a reality check No Mixon, suspect oline, no veteran Kirk. Chubb is most likely washed. CJ is going to be running for his life most likely. I think Dalton Shultz has regressed, we have 2 unproven rookies at wide receiver. This is basically the CJ/Nico show and if the Rams just gameplan on them 2, we'll score 13 pts or less. Defense will put up a fight but will eventually tire out. I just hope CJ doesn't get hurt. I also think we'll be penalized heavy with the new oline trying to gel. False starts galore. This of course is just my opinion and trust me, I hope I'm wrong.
Sounds wonderful. I'll be settling for crock pot links with Sweet Baby Rays sauce. I just hope to be able to watch.
And yet, you don't highlight that we have arguably the best CB/Edge duo in the league going up against a guy whose barely played this preseason and is a statue. The other aspect is that there defense can't game plan for an offense that has no film on it. All that negativity is pretty gross.
I've been in the Colorado mountains marrying my youngest daughter to a soon-to-be USAF officer. I'm chomping at the bit for this game and super excited that we'll be pleasantly surprised by our offense. I think the rookie WRs may surprise some folks and Chubb may have some of that old magic. Key will be how quickly our OL can come together and execute against a very good DL. Our defense will have a challenge with a wily vet QB and 2 very good to elite WRs. Getting pressure on Stafford will be the key to stopping their passing game and they're pretty good on the ground as well. In any case, excited for the season to start.
This could all come to fruition, but it's also why I want to watch the game for the intrigue. Can they overcome. Will the line show some resistance now that they're not doing Abstract Algebra and can focus on Chinese backwards. Pierce redemption. Can the rooks step up? Still don't know how the new alteration in the kicking game works.
This is a legit opinion, but I doubt it will be a blowout unless the Texans lose the TO battle by 2-3. I think it is very likely CJ runs for his life. If I were the Rams, I would not respect the running game; pressuring the QB is priority #1.
