Eric Adams can literally save the future of NYC by exiting the race and accepting the HUD position. A Mamdani win all but ensures the rich leave NY, and the poor are left to fight over the ashes. See Chicago as a prime example. Huge budget deficits, tax rates up, rampant violent crime... the rich and large corporations have left town for Miami and Dallas. Once Wall Street leaves, NYC crumbles. Republicans should aggressively get behind the development of the Dallas-based financial services hub. Capitalism is a VAST system (and Mamdani is a capitalist) with all sorts of levers, cycles and history. It's current form (crony state capitalism) is not working for most people. About 90% are hurting. And about .03% not only earn an obscenely disproportionate amount, more importantly, they use the money to control the government (and it affects both sides). Smarter, richer, more economically savvy and better people than you (like Ray Dalio) do not think the current version of capitalism is working. The fact idiots (on both sides) try to pigeonhole it to left vs right when it's both sides is why people like Mamdani will continue to gain popularity. PS. Inflation started with money-printing and covid shutdowns that occurred WHILE TRUMP was in office.This is a wealth gap issue, not just an inflation issue.

It shows how delusional one would be if they thought this was a politically unpopular thing to say. Netanyahu is maybe the most unpopular person on the planet right now and a war criminal. I couldn’t think of too many more popular positions you could take when discussing foreign policy other than arresting Putin maybe. It also would be insulting to Jewish people in New York to assume they have blind allegiance to the president of Israel just because they are Jewish. I assume Mamdani will carry the Jewish vote in NYC quite comfortably.
Greg Abbott should be up in NY meeting with the major Wall Street banks to lure more of them to Texas. Texas could reshape its economy by enticing more global banks and financial services firms to relocate here. Many already have. Mamdani could be the last straw for businesses in NY.
