One More Thing - Why is anything (esp specimen containers) made of Glass? Esp something you put on a sheft of a moving ship. Every one of these specimens are Extremely intelligent Rocket River
I'm fine with the placement of ep 5. Could have been better if every episode was S1 E3 of Last of Us.
My wife and I were both wtf on that too, and why they didn't have alarms. The only thing I can think of is the modeling after the 1979 OG Alien movie 'technology'. Hence the smoking, CRT monitors and super loud mainframe computer noises. And other items. Let's face it, lots of really dumb things happening like the ticks being able to open their container, glass smashing, lack of medical procedure protection, rampant second-hand smoke. They were dumb in the 1970's, right?
Exactly I was like d*mn these things are super smart Like someone else said. . . how exactly did they catch them to begin with The original crew weren't suppose to be super smart scientist Rocket River
My read was that eyebro was just observing, then tried to warn Chibuzo (I had to look that up). I'm not sure that eyeguy is 'bad' other than popping out eyeballs and controlling bodies.
yeah, the glass container that can be easily shattered if dropped to hold dangerous and unknown alien life forms threw me off Idk if calling the writing lazy would be too harsh, but everyone and everything had to be as stupid as possible for any of that stuff to happen the results of the stupidity had me hooked, but damn, the collective IQ of the crew probably added up to 50 I enjoyed the episode tho
If I'm piling on, the actress who plays Zaverni (interim captain) is a pretty bad actor and was barely holding her own. But here I am talking and researching this show, so it's got my attention and I like it.
Eyeball saw them working on trying to get out, and he banged on the glass to distract the "doctor/scientist" while they did it. He's the smartest of all the aliens we've seen so far.
At this point. . . . are you thinking all the creatures came from the same planet? Maybe the Xenomorphs are the Dinosaurs to the Eyeball's (what dinosaurs are to us humans) without the asteroid to kill them off. I was wondering if it was distracting her . .. or trying to warn her. . . . . Rocket River Maybe the ancestor of our octopus
Robot Olyphant is interesting. Are we thinking he is more advanced that Ash (Ash would have left earth years earlier if i'm not mistaken) I have to rewatch Alien now My personal theory is that after this situation one of the company's (probably Wutani) sent the message in the original Alien and directed them to where the Xenomorphs were on purpose. (since they probably lost out on these) Rocket River
Morrow is stealing the show. And we got to see his motivation in episode 5. Grandma Yutani was his mother figure. You can’t buy that kind of loyalty.
Part of me watches "Kirsch" look at "brilliant fun boy" and I can see him thinking how he's gonna **** him over, despite his programming. Maybe he has other programming?
