Either we are all going to be pleasantly surprised at how smooth the new offense looks, or disappointed by how porous the offensive line "still" is. I am guessing the former.
I think what's likely is the gameplan will be set up to minimize the ability of the Oline to derail things. A lot of short pass patterns and dump offs. It'll make the offense slow, but not put CJ at risk. The running game is a complete mystery, though. I don't know what to expect there. My hope is the defense can get some key turnovers and give us some short fields to help the offense do work.
[Schefter] Texans WR Christian Kirk has a strained hamstring that is expected to sideline him for at least Sunday’s opener vs. the Rams and possibly longer, per sources. One source estimated it to be a two-week injury for Kirk, but the Texans will be “cautious” with him.
100% agree, Kirk was a great signing but when we drafted Noel it made me think we found our slot guy, I would prefer to ease him into that role but looks like he will get thrown into the deep end and will be asked to swim.............very excited to see what he brings
To be honest, I prefer the veteran backup. My reasoning is they have the experience to come in without missing a beat rather than be overwhelmed. This applies to Cam Robinson and Mills as well. We will run through the whole team at some point anyway.

Let's be honest, Castor probably views starting official game threads as an obligation, yet he doesn't want to let go of that power and allow someone else to do it.
