What channel did you use? I looked at TRT but it was playing the Germany game. I found it finally on Serbian channel (god bless IPTV)
Tbh I genuinely just clicked a random link that was posted in the thread here and it was perfect all game long, didn't even need to refresh or get rid of any sketchy ads.
That was amazing! I saw literally everything I wanted to see from Alpi against Serbia. Can anyone tell me what he did not do against a very good opponent? 28/13/8 4/7 from long range and his misses were back irons instead of pulling the string like he often does on jumpers 4/4 clutch FTs with the game on the line that all swished like they were layups I've been very clinical about these games. My only thought has been Alpi's preparation for the NBA season. But I became emotionally invested in the outcome in the final minutes this time, which felt kinda weird. On to the round of 16! Can we assume going 5-0 guarantees they will avoid Germany until the semis?
That win was huge. Serbia was considered heavy favorites for gold but my boys pushed them to Germany's path and said "see you in semi final" Man, what a game. Serbian bench is so so deep. Clearly better team overall. 14 lead changes. Still shivers down my spine... Alpi shot 3's, attacked to the basket, dropped dimes, hit the floor attacking opponent pg for match winning steal and led a somewhat lesser team to victory against best player in the world and the refs. If that is not a superstar performance I don't know what is...
That's what he was today. Hold on a sec. Turkey won because they shot like crazy from long range while Germany was pedestrian (18/31 vs. 11/26). For today at least, Alpi's teammates were better.
18 threes in a game is also the most ever for the national team. serbia is normally so much better than us - no other way to beat them.
Definitely was. I think we can safely consider this "The Serbia Game" in the mythology of Sengun's superstar career, and it'll live on for long in memories. Really felt like a coming out party on the International stage tbh, he genuinely outplayed the best player in the world and won with a significantly weaker team on paper. You love to ****ing see it man!
i thought the same thing. A little bit too early but still looked like, Jokic passing the passing big center torch to Sengun. First clear signs of this happening.
Tbh I was rooting sengun for 10 years. I'm always on optimistic side for him but tonight he exceed every expectation I had. Got me punching the wall chanting 'mvp'. Maybe a poster dunk or big block on the rim would be cream on top of it but I'm happy that it didn't happen. Otherwise I wouldn't know what to do with myself lol.
They've come to realize all their dreams of a KPJ/Jalen backcourt with Bruno lobs were utter crap lol. It must suck to be so wrong, as to be stunned into silence, even the trolls are quiet. Wait until Alpi starts putting the hurting on the rest of the NBA during the regular season and post-season, this time with a real sharpshooter HOF player and an improved Amen. Senhub about to get crazy!
He looks to be in the best physical shape of his life, he got rid of some of the baby fat and has gotten stronger at the same time.
