Genuinely, considering the defensive improvement, if he does it all together his ceiling is top 5 player in the league.
Right, if all the parts of his game come together, there aren’t many better basketball players better than that. Still, an if. But getting closer to realization
Gone are the days haters were mocking him and the fans for his potential. Where is ‘you can’t win with Sengun’ crowd now, like @hlmbasketball
Sengun backing down Jokic, grabbing a board, scoring plus the foul, and then the 'tongue out' taunting. Who is this guy?! He looks like an athletic superstar!
They'll be there till he wins a title as a main guy. It's how it was for jordan, it's how it was for curry, it's how it was for jokic, it's how it'll be for sengun.
I'm just hoping as his conditioning/overall fitness improves into his prime that the extra energy required for the type of defense we have to play (that he is very good at now) no longer starts to effect his offensive game as much. If he also adds a respectable 3 ball with consistency? Yeah that'll be crazy, that could jump his scoring up several points. We just need Ime to let him distribute too so he can really flex what he does all-round.
I'm pretty sure I get him and another one of the Alpi haters completely confused with how identical and idiotic the takes are lmao.
The one's you mentioned were more for the postseason. Sengun (me included) questioned if he was good enough to be the best player on a good regular season team. It looks like my reservations were wrong.
