What i stated is very much so true. You show me where gas prices have went down to the so called 2 dollars and lower as 47 has stated by the way it's a lie. I go to the grocey store weekly so i know for a fact that food prices have went up. According to government data the average price of a pound of 100 percent ground beef rose to $6.12 last month, up from $5.98 in May and $5.47 in June 2024. Experts have said this trend shows no signs of slowing, meaning there may be upward pressure on prices through 2026 and beyond

All I said was gas prices are cheaper now than they were this time last year, which is true. Gas prices haven't gotten down below 2 bucks like Trump predicted, of course drill baby drill hasn't kicked off into full gear yet, so there's always a chance for gas prices to get down to 2 bucks per gallon.

Overall grocery prices have dropped a bit at the HEB I shop at.

consumers pay for the tariffs. everyone knows this except trump and his followers. actually, trump probably knows this but he is lying to yall.

not true...inflation has crept back up over the last 5 months. and one of the factors driving inflation is trumps tariffs.

All this stuff is tracked by the federal reserve and chicken prices have gone up by 13% since January. They literally lie about everything 24/7

    https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/APU0000FF1101

The difference is they have zero shame in lying. They dont care about the truth. The only thing that matters is rehabilitating Trump.

    Non stop lies 24/7

Inflation is super low -- below 3.0% for the CPI. That's a great level -- not too hot but also no risk of deflation, which is crippling to an economy.

Foreign producers have been paying a large portion of the tariffs... which is why inflation hasn't gone up much if any. If you are a foreign producer looking to compete against American producers... you have to lower your price to withstand the tariff... otherwise you lose market share and those juicy American customers might not return. This is 100% happening in the market place and I have personally observed it many times in the last month.

Remember, if you produce here in the USA, your goods are not tariff'd... a strong incentive to bring manufacturing jobs back to this country. A great thing for the American worker and for real wage growth.

Since Trump announced the trade deal with Japan American auto companies have lost billions in market cap while foreigners have seen gains. Its cheaper to build your car in japan and pay a flat 20% versus manufacturing here and paying 50% tariffs on input costs like steel/aluminum.

Manufacturing has has 6 straight months of negative growth. There's zero truth behind your statement

Do you think a new factory can be built in a few months and the jobs already created? It takes time after Obama-Biden gutted American industry by shipping jobs to China and Vietnam... There is no question that Trump's policies incentivize US production. No denying that. Biden barely lifted a finger to help the American worker... and he let millions of foreign workers come and take the jobs of African Americans and the working class. Biden also caused runaway inflation that took a devastating toll on the working and middle classes. Trump put a stop to that -- prioritizing the American worker and keeping a lid on inflation.

-The infrastructure bill added 200k jobs and they were all union jobs that paid 60k+ without a college degree needed.
-the NLRB approved more union applications under biden than any other admin since Eisenhower
    - the IRA added more than 900 new factories and more than 700 billion in actual spending. Not just phony pinky promises that Trump gets.
-when biden left office prime age employment for native born Americans was at a record high

Give up the act and quit trolling.

If tariffs raise prices and so far they haven't and your life hasn't been affected in any way by the tariffs, then bringing back jobs/manufacturing and foreign investments into the USA will far offset the cost of the tariffs and lead to a brighter future that we will be leaving for the next generation. Another positive is we wont be reliant on other countries to make goods for us. I guess you like being reliant on others to do things for you that you should be doing yourself?

So simple a 5th grader can understand this, but some who think they're intellectually superior dont seem to be able to grasp this concept. They need to listen to the Senator John Kennedy/Jessica Tarlov debate.

Paid $2.67 in October. Paid $2.67 2 weeks ago.

Drilling is one of the biggest lies Republicans pushed. We were pumping out more oil than ever under Biden and there were countless approvals not being used by oil companies.

Gas prices being virtually the same while when Biden was in office OPEC was actively trying to rig the market to make the US economy sputter to help Trump in 24, should concern everyone. That means even with the refs trying the rig the game for you, and you still can’t do better that the game itself isnt going all that well.

Dont know if youre aware but the gulf countries are currently funneling billions of dollars to Trump via crypto scams. The bigger question is why do we allow OPEC to control gas prices at home? They are corrupt to the core
