Luis in one start proves he is 10x more effective than LMJ.

He should play ahead of Trammell, Smith, Chas, and Melton.

Yeah, I agree. Once Meyers is back none of those guys should be playing. Yordan/Altuve in LF, Sanchez in RF and Meyers in CF with Urias at 2B. When we face a lefty then Dubon or Cam can play.

That's what Correa needs to do a whole lot more often. Drive in a run.

    Let's pray that's the case.

If Spaghetti, Javier, Luis Garcia keep pitching like this, we may have something here...if the offense can wake up and stay awake......

Altogether outstanding comeback effort from Garcia. 6 innings, 6 K's, 3 hits and no walks.

Agreed. Looked fluid. Had command throughout. Got burned by two mistakes, but recovered after each of them. He’s confident the velocity will get better and better with returning strength, but his new delivery does also add a bit of deception that the league will have to catch on to all over again.

Anybody still on board with having signed Kikuchi to that 21 million per deal?

    6-10 3.83 ERA
averages 5 1/2 innings per start

My issue with him was the 5 1/2 innings per start, which is pretty much his career average. Can't pay someone like that a boatload of money. Just can't do it. Unless you're gonna have an era in the mid 2's.

All the scouting videos from pre-2023 can be tossed... but in all seriousness, maybe velocity isn't everything. If pitches have movement and location, he would be a good change of pace in a playoff series.
