The walks... the HBPs... the errors... the excuses... He has no business in a big league roster. We won't miss thee. That is my eulogy.
Super tough situation. Good guy, loyal teammate, long history, big contract….but just doesn’t have the ability any more. This is worse than the Jose Abreu situation. If they can somehow just limit him to low leverage innings for the rest of this season, they can let him come back next spring and if a miracle hasn’t happened, he can retire and get paid.
…I’ll see myself to the Baseball: MLB, College, International, High School, Little League sub-forum. <cough cough> @Clutch
Wow.......Lance is cooked, what an absolute horrendous job in relief. I dont see him coming back from this.....................Thanks for the memories, Lance, we shall now bury you over in the 5th ward
Brad Peacock and Charlie Morton bailed him out in that game 7 after he plunked FOUR batters in less than 3 innings. Collin McHugh deserves the respect that LMJ gets.
He has been bad But your absolute hatred of him is really weird, with you being a guy that supposedly loves the Astros I don't think there was ever a chance that he came back this year fully back to what he is capable of. I don't think you realize the significance of the injuries he is coming back from Will he be able to be an MLB pitcher after a "normal" offseason and spring training next year? I have no idea, but we are paying that salary one way or the other so I would definitely find out Either way, watching you go out of the way to continually declare your hatred of the guy is weird. Dude basicallygave his right arm and shoulder up to win us our first ring
How is my attitude towards LMJ any different how folks here regard Verlander and even Pressly, who has arguably been more successful than LMJ? Or for those longtime members, Lin and Harden in the Rockets threads?
