this team just doesn't know how to relay signs once they're in scoring position

you see it all the time with other teams when someone is on 2nd or the 1st base coach relaying signs where the catcher is set up and any telltale signs from the pitchers.

this team doesn't do that.

 

I know for a fact we can fire the hitting coach right now if we had the stones.

 

i had more fun watching the AAA lineups. there i said it.

will this 'major' lineup figure out? who the hell knows.......

 

Surely at some point someone will get a hit with a runner at 2B… maybe even something more than a single.

Station to station, no fundamentals, no ability to get the big extra base hits with men on base. Did I mention station to station baseball?

It would be one thing if we were hitting HRs at the same pace as the Yankees, but we're mediocre in that category. This team should be executing hit and runs to stay out of DPs, stealing bases, hitting to the right to move runners over, etc.

 

But never any singles when it matters
